Another day, but I'm grateful that I actually have another day on this earth... Even if life does suck right now.

Life really does suck. Being grown and in love is exhausting. Can I just go back to being five with no worries? That would be nice.

I woke up confused out of my mind this morning and then soon enough I remembered that I went home. When I woke up... I reached over for Justin and looked around the room thinking I was still in his bed.

Ugh.

I'm sitting at the table with my mom drinking my coffee that I just made. It was super hot and I almost burnt my tongue since I couldn't wait long enough for it to cool off.

I'm so impatient.

"Nice shirt, where'd you get it?" Mom asked as she sipped her coffee.

I look down at the shirt and the back up at her.

"It's Justin's shirt. He gave it to me." I said placing my fingers on the side of my mug to feel the warmth.

She nodded and didn't say anything else since it was about Justin.

"Mom." I said getting her attention since she just awkwardly stopped conversing with me.

"What?" She said innocently as if she didn't know what she was doing.

"You can talk about him... It's not like I'm going to break into a million pieces when you say his name." I explained.

"I know... But I know how much he means to you and I don't want to make you sad. Seeing you that upset just makes me upset for you." She said.

"Don't worry about it. I'm fine." I said giving her a smile to reassure her that I really was okay.

I'm really good at hiding my feelings.

"Anyways, shouldn't you be getting ready for that party soon?" Mom asked changing the subject purposely.

"Yeah, it doesn't start until later, but getting an early start just gives me more time to perfect myself." I said standing up and grabbing my mug to take with me upstairs.

"You don't need all that makeup to look beautiful. You're beautiful the way you are." Dad said butting into our conversation.

"Thanks dad." I said pecking him on the cheek.

I make my way upstairs and got a quick shower. I tried not to think about Justin not being there to shower with me. It would just make it worse.

After my shower was done, I wrapped a towel around my body and slipped on some clean laced panties and a long shirt to wear until I decide what to wear.

In my room, I had a vanity that my grandma gave me. It was so old and beautiful and I've always loved using it.

I sat down at my vanity and decided that I was tired of the curls and wanted a straight hair look.

I dried my hair and then put heat protector in to maintain the frizz.

It took about a good thirty minutes to straighten my hair all the way. It was really worth it.

Finally, the fun part.

Since this is a party, I decided to have a little fun with my makeup.

I put on my base foundation and then highlighted and contoured my face. I blended it all out with my my damp beauty blender. I was pretty happy with how it turned out.

No one ever sees me all dressed up so my eyes were going to pop. I wanted a bold eye and simple lips.

In the crease of my eye, I dragged a light brow and made it sharp along with a light cream color on the whole lid.
