"Harrys outside," I sighed as I went downstairs, Charlie sitting on the sofa watching tv while I was all dressed up, ready to go somewhere where I didn't want to go.
"Right, i'll see you later then," he chuckled, turning round to face me.
"Don't make fun, it's only to get him off my back, you even suggested it!" I groaned.
"I know i did, you might even have fun," he laughed.
"Doubt it," I sighed and chucked my spare keys into my bag.
"See you later," I mumbled and opened the front door where I could see Harry's car waiting.
I closed the door behind me and went down to his car, opening the passenger door and getting in quickly.
"Alright?" I said shortly, putting my seatbelt on as he started to drive.
"I'm good, you look nice," he said, biting his lip slightly and putting his hand on my leg which made my skin crawl.
"Thanks," I said, shrugging his hand off my leg which he seemed quite annoyed about.
The rest of the car journey was quiet making it seem forever until we got there. Finally parking up outside the restaurant Harry hopped out, not even opening my door for me which Aston always used to do. I got out of the car too, following him quickly inside as he was already half way to the door. He walked inside and dropped the door, leaving it to fall on me and bash me in the face slightly. I struggled to pull it open and walk inside myself, Harry not paying one bit of attention to me.
Because we had reservations we didn't have to wait half the time everyone else did and just followed the waiter to our table. We sat down opposite each other, finally Harry even took a second to look at me since we left Charlie's. Although when he did look at me it was uncomfortable the way he just dragged his eyes over me like he was some middle ages pervert. I looked down at my menu and decided to shrug it off, that way it'd be less uncomfortable.
"Are you drinking?" Harry asked me.
"No," I shook my head.
"Why not?" he frowned a little.
"I don't want to, I'm fine with just a soft drink,"
"No, come on have some wine or something,' he said, embarrassing me in front of the waiter by his constant nagging.
"Fine, okay." I sighed, sitting back in my chair and looking out the window, deciding it was best to let him have his way.
"What is wrong with you?" Harry snapped once that waiter had gone.
"What is wrong with me? i've been forced into a date thats whats wrong with me,"
"You weren't forced!"
"It was either that or your constant nagging at work," I said, looking back at him.
"If you loosened up you might even enjoy yourself,"
"Enjoy myself? Harry this is the first time since you picked me up that you've looked at me, you dropped the door on me earlier and you're making me drink when I don't want to, that isn't helping me enjoy myself," I frowned. He was about to answer but the waiter came back with our drinks and set them on the table in front of us. I took a small sip of mine even though I didn't really want it, it was the only thing i had.
Aston's Point Of View.
There was a knock on the door, interrupting the program I was watching on the tv. I groaned and stood up, pausing the program and heading for my front door, the person behind it still impatiently knocking on it. I turned on the hall light and unlocked the door, swinging it open to see Marvin stood there.
"Took your time bruv," he laughed.
"I was watching something," I sighed, rolling my eyes. Marvin walked past me and into my house so I turned round to face him, shutting the door behind him with my foot.
"Right you're not going to like what I'm gonna tell you but you need to know,"
"Okay then.." I said slowly, wondering what he was going to say.
"Don't get mad or anything,"
"I won't,"
"I'm only telling you because I'm a friend,"
"Just spit it out Marv!" I laughed a little, stopping him from blabbing on anymore.
"Right, sorry," he sighed a little, "I saw
Amelia with Harry,"
"Well they do work together.."
"No Ast you don't get it, they were going into the new posh restaurant not far from here, you know the one?" he asked and I nodded.
"I think they were on a date,"
"But how? Amelia hates him," I frowned.
"I don't know, I'm just telling you what I saw mate," Marvin shrugged, i sighed.
"I don't understand, after what happened at the club.."
"It might have been something to do with work, i don't know,"
"I doubt it, not at this time,"
"She was going to move on at some point Ast," Marvin sighed.
"Yeah I know but this early?" I frowned, he didn't say anything and just shrugged. An idea sprung in my head and before I knew it I was grabbing my jacket and keys off the side.
"What are you doing?" Marvin frowned, watching me carefully as I opened the door.
"I have to know whats going on," I said seriously.
"What? Are you mental?"
"No, I need to know," I walked out my house and waited for Marvin to walk out too so I could lock my house up, not caring my tv was still on either.
"Well at least let me come with you, going on your own will look too suspicious," he said and followed me out the house.
"I'm not going into a restaurant like that with you," I laughed a little, unlocking my car.
"You can't go on your own!" he chuckled and got into my car passenger seat. I got into the driver's seat, closing the door and quickly putting my seat belt on.
"You really shouldn't do this," Marvin said.
"Why not?"
"You shouldn't be involved anymore, leave her to do what she wants,"
"I'm not getting involved, I'll stay out the way..I just need to know whats going on," I explained, "like if you broke up with Rochelle, you'd want to know if she was dating someone else, wouldn't you?"
"Yeah I guess but not this way," he sighed.
"You didn't have to come,"
"What and leave you to get into whatever? who knows what you would've done, jealousy is a horrible thing Ast, it makes you do things without thinking,"
"I know Marvin, I know," I said quietly. He shook his head and looked out the window, leaving me to focus on driving. Maybe what I was doing what too much, I probably was over reacting but she was making a mistake, after what happened at the club I knew he wouldn't be the best boyfriend.
