The others still hadn't found out about Aston and I, I don't think they were even the slightest bit suspicious. Whenever the group were together Aston and I would always end up separating ourselves from them so how they haven't found out I don't know. Tonight we were all going round Marvin and Rochelle's, apparently they had some exciting news they wanted to share with us. They asked us to be there around Five so I was now making my way there after a long day at work. I'd popped to the shop on the way back to get a bottle of wine, I wanted to make some kind of contribution. I slowly walked up to the door and rung the door. Within seconds a very excited looking Rochelle opened the door.
"Hey babe," I smiled cheerily.
"Hey Mils, come on in," She said, stepping aside so I could go in. She led me through into the living room where everyone else was already here. Everyone calling their hellos to me as I walked in.
"Look at you," AJ giggled, adding a wolf whistle as I walked in. I was still wearing my work clothes, usually I never dressed up but we had some important person come in today and were told to wear something professional.
"Shut up, I came straight from work," I giggled, rolling my eyes. I kicked off my heels and hooked them on my fingers, instantly I was a few inches shorter.
"Ouch, how did you walk in those all day?" Chloe gasped.
"Mm I know, I can already feel the blisters coming on," I groaned and went to place them by the front door. I set them down in the hall way, next to everyone else's.
"I'm just going to get changed, I won't be a second!" I called through into the living room as I walked past to go up the stairs. I took my bag upstairs and went into the spare room, getting out the more comfortable clothes I had brought to change into. I took off the stupidly tight black dress I had be wearing around all day and replaced it with my leggings and a top. I threw my hoodie over the top and put my fluffy lounge socks on also. I looked in the mirror and started taking out the million clips I had put in my hair this morning to keep my bun in place. Once they were all out I took my hair out and shook it about, giving it a brush through with my fingers before retying it up into a messy high pony tail. I put my other clothes back into my bag and went back downstairs, taking out my phone from my bag and putting my bag at the front door.
"Right, I'm here," I smiled, going into the living room.
"That was quick," Rochelle laughed, clinging onto Marvin's side.
"Yeah, I know," I shrugged.
"You're wearing my hoodie," I heard Aston's voice say from across the room. I looked over at him for the first time since I'd been here, my heart beat increasing as his eyes locked with mine.
"I am?" I asked, refusing to move my eyes from his. He smiled and nodded, sipping his drink.
"Oh sorry, I didn't realise..do you want it back?" I said, if it was just us two I would be refusing to give it back but since the others were here we had to act like we were just friends.
"No babe, it's fine..you keep it," He told me.
"I always wondered why it was so big on me," I giggled and sat down on the sofa next in between Chloe and Oritse. I could feel everyone's eyes on us as we talked, dead silence apart from our conversation like they were looking for any sign or clue that something was going on. Eventually the others started talking again and I knew they were distracted so I looked back over at Aston who was watching me, a cheesy grin on his face. I giggled to myself and smiled back.
"Right before you all get drunk and won't listen to a word we're saying we want to tell you the real reason we brought you all here," Marvin said, raising his voice so we could all hear him. All conversations stopped and we all turned to look at them, eager to find out their news.
