Chapter thirty-seven

I was woken the next morning, the sound of my alarm on my phone going off on the bedside table. I opened my eyes slowly and rubbed them, hearing voices not far from the bedroom door. Its then, when I had woken up a bit more, that I realised what day it was. It was my wedding day. Slowly a grin formed on my face as I quickly sat up and grabbed my phone off the side to check the time. [6.45]. Normally I would complain about it being so early but today I was just too happy to do that. I got out of bed, putting a dressing gown on over my pyjamas even though it was warm already. I walked over to my bedroom door and opened it, seeing the girls rushing around on the landing.

"I'm getting married today!" I screamed making the girls jump and look round at me. I froze and put my hands over my mouth when I heard a baby cry from down the hall. I completely forgot there was a baby in the house.

"I'm sorry, I forgot." I mumbled into my hands.

"It's okay babe, she needs to be up anyway or she'll never sleep later." Rochelle laughed and hurried down the hall the tend to her baby.

"I was wondering when you were gonna be up." AJ giggled.

"I set an alarm to make sure I would be up early enough. There is a lot to do." I said.

"We have some bacon on the go if you want some." Chloe told me as she started walking downstairs.

"Ah no, not for me yet. I can't eat in the mornings." I said, screwing up my face at the thought of eating food this early in the morning.

"Later though! You have to eat or you'll be light headed at the church." Chloe said.

"Yeah, I will." I nodded and waved my hand dismissively. Rochelle walked out of the spare room, holding Alaia-mai and rocking her to stop her crying.

"Aw, is she okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, she probably just didn't know where she was." Rochelle smiled. We all made our way downstairs and into the kitchen.

"What is the plan for this morning then Mils?" AJ asked, flicking the kettle on and leaning against the side.

"We have to be at the hair dressers for nine then come back here for the makeup girls who should be here for half ten. My parents are coming for eleven, we'll get dressed and finish off then hopefully leave for about twelevish." I explained.

"So you have some time to just chill before its all go." Rochelle said.

"Yeah, I'm not as nervous as I thought though. I'm quite calm at the moment." I smiled.

"Just wait until about ten, you'll start stressing then." She giggled.

"Brilliant." I rolled my eyes and wrapped my hands around the cup of tea AJ had just passed to me.

We sat around for about forty five minutes before we started to get ready. We still had an hour and a half before we were due at the hairdressers but when theres four girls, a baby and only two bathrooms to get ready we needed to start getting ready early.

"Babe, we got you a present." Rochelle said to me, holding an ASDA bag in her hand.

"Whats that?" I asked, raising my eyebrows at the bag. The girls grinned as I watched Rochelle pulled out a black top and held it up to me. On the front in pink writing it said 'Amelia and Aston's wedding' then underneath in smaller writing it had the date.

"Oh my god." I giggled.

"Theres more." Rochelle said and turned in round. In bold, capital letters it said 'BRIDE'.
