Amelia's Point Of View

I stared at the outfits laid out on my bed, trying to choose which one to wear. I was spoilt for choice, there was so many of them. It was Two in the afternoon on Saturday, it was probably a bit too earlier to be getting ready but i needed plenty of time to decide what to wear. Plus the girls were coming over in a couple of hours as we were going to get ready together. I'd invited them to come over, I wanted to break the ice even more before we actually went out just so it was clear that we were talking again and i'd have someone other than Charlie to be hanging around with.

Eventually i chose what i wanted to wear and went with a black dress that i'd had for about half a year and never worn. The shopping trip a few days ago was obviously a complete waste of time.

The clock ticked closer to Four and i was walking around in my towel after just getting out of the shower. I heard the doorbell ring and I was stuck on what to do as i was stood here in my towel. After a couple of seconds i ran downstairs, not caring that i was in my towel.

"Come in, i won't be a second," i said, opening the door and about to run back upstairs.

"Erm," someone said awkwardly, i looked back around and saw it wasn't the girls stood there, it was Aston. My eyes widened and i gripped my towel tighter.

"Oh sorry, i thought you were the girls," i said and looked down, trying to hide my burning cheeks.

"Its okay," he laughed nervously, "I was just walking by and I just wanted to kind of clear the air for us,"

"What do you mean?" I asked, looking back at him.

"Well we haven't really been talking lately and I don't want us to feel awkward around each other," he explained.

"Yeah, i was thinking the same," i smiled lightly.

"So we're good now, yeah?" he asked and i nodded, more for the fact i wanted this humiliating moment over with.

"Good, i'll see you tonight then," he said and turned around.

"Sure, thanks for stopping over Aston, it means a lot," i shrugged.

"Its fine babe, we've been through a lot together and i don't want that all to be ruined just because of what happened," he smiled, leaning against the door frame.

"I agree, we were close,"

"Closer than close,"

I nodded, "You better go get ready, you're going to be late,"

"I'll be fine," he chuckled.

"No, you know how long you take," i giggled.

"I don't take that long!" he protested.

"Worse than a girl," i smirked.

"Gotta look good, right?"

"Always," i giggled, "Now get out of my house, i need to put some clothes on before the girls come,"

"Or you could just come out like that?" he winked making me giggle.

"Goodbye Aston," i laughed and pushed him out the door way of my flat.

"See you later," he said, flashing his cheeky smile that melted me and walked off down the hall.

"Oh hey girls," Aston cheerily as he passed the three girls who were making there way towards me. They all looked at him funny, probably wondering why he was here. He just smiled at them and carried on walking, leaving me to explain what went on. All their eyes turned to look at me, I was watching them walk over to me and into my flat.
