Chapter thirty-two
"Lets see it then!" Rochelle called from the other side of the curtain.
"Yeah, it'll be your actual wedding day before you get out here." Chloe giggled. I giggled to myself and I could hear the shop assistant laughing too behind me.
"I've never felt so impatient in my life." AJ said dramatically.
"All done." The lady said to me causing me to smile and run my hands down the soft fabric. She popped her head out the curtain to let the others know I was ready before sliding the curtain open so I could step out.
"Oh my god, babe.." Chloe gasped, her hands coming over her mouth.
"You look beautiful!" AJ gushed, eyeing up the dress I was wearing.
"Ast is gonna melt when he sees you." Rochelle said.
"Thank you girls." I blushed. As you could probably guess I was doing the final fittings for my wedding dress. I had chosen the dress I wanted a long time ago but all the sizes were way too big and needed altering.
"Would you like to step up on here so you can have a final look." The lady smiled and held out her hand for me. I took her hand and she helped me step up onto the mini platform in front of the large mirror. I was shocked by what I was looking at.
"Is that really me?" I giggled, putting my hands on my cheeks.
"Told you you look beautiful!" AJ giggled.
"I love it." I smiled and turned to the side so I could see the back of my dress.
"And your veil.." The lady smiled, I looked round at her before bending my knees so she could put the finishing touch on my look. Having another look at myself in the mirror, the veil just completed the look and made it so much better.
"I promised myself I wouldn't cry." I said as my bottom lip quivered.
"And I told you you wouldn't be able to help it." Rochelle called me. I fanned my eyes with my hands to dry my eyes but it didn't help and tears spilled out of my eyes.
"I can't believe I'm getting married, it doesn't seem real." I whispered.
"Well he's a lucky guy, you look wonderful." The shop lady smiled to me.
"Thank you so much." I smiled too. I stood around in my dress and admired it for another few minutes before getting changed again. Once I was changed we thanked the lady before leaving the shop.
"Now its time to get your dresses." I grinned as we walked back to the car to put my dress in so I didn't have to carry it around with me.
"I'm excited, I hope they turned out the right size." Rochelle stressed.
"I'm sure they will be." I smiled.
"It seems to be a good day so lets hope so." Chloe smiled.
"Have you got something for Alaia to wear Roch?" I asked. Rochelle had her baby two months ago, it was now July the following year. Perfect wedding season.
"I have something in mind but I don't know if I like it well enough for a wedding. I was thinking of having a look when we get our dresses." She told me.
"Yeah, good plan. Little girl needs to look beautiful too." I cooed and looked down at Alaia in her pram.
"She loves you." Rochelle giggled. I unlocked the car and opened the backseat door. I laid my dress and veil bags on the back seat and put my shoes down on the floor behind the driver's seat. I locked the car back up and we made our way back into town to go to the shop where we ordered bridesmaid dresses. I took over from Rochelle and decided to push Alaia's pram, making funny faces at her as we walked.
