Chapter 16

I stepped out the taxi, holding the bottom of my dress so it wouldn't blow up in the wind. I looked around and saw people outside the club, already out of their faces. I giggled to myself at them and followed the other three girls inside. I wasn't sure where the others would be so we were just keeping an eye out for them as we walked inside.

"I think I can see Marv's head," Rochelle giggled, looking over the crowds of people.

"I think i can too, come on lets go over there..we're already late as it is," Chloe said and lead us towards what we thought was Marvin's head. Luckily it was Marvin we saw and everyone else minus Aston was sitting around the table, drinks in hand.

"Hey birthday boy," i grinned as Charlie stood up to greet us, a massive smile stretched on his face. I pulled him into a tight hug.

"Hey you," he chuckled and kissed my cheek.

"Happy birthday," I giggled, pulling back from the hug.

"Thank you babe," he smiled and went to hug the other three girls as i sat down.

"Right drinks..i think we're ready for another round," Marvin said after finally pulling his lips from Rochelle's.

"Mhm, it's my round," JB said and stood up, Chloe standing up seconds after him, gripping his hand.

"I'll help," she offered with a smile.

"Shouldn't we wait for Aston?" Oritsé asked, stopping JB and Chloe walking off.

"Thats my name, don't wear it out," Aston's voice said, causing my heart rate to speed up. I looked to my left where Aston was walking to the table, his hand on his chest and looking around, wondering why his name was mentioned. I saw a mass of brunette hair behind him but I didn't pay much attention to it because I was checking out Aston's appearance. He was looking gorgeous in his dark jeans that hung so low that they could fall down any minute and his buttoned up shirt, his hair was also styled the way i love it. I took my eyes off him and looked back at the group.

"Oh just if you wanted drinks," JB said.

"Er yeah, i'm ready for another one..babe?" Aston asked, turning around to who i guessed what the girl he brought with him.

"Yeah, okay then," she said making me freeze, i knew that voice. I quickly whipped my head round to see exactly who i thought stood there.

"Katie?" i gasped, laughing into almost disbelief.

"Thats me," she said, looking at me and shrugging.

"You're Aston's date?" I asked. Everyone had now fell silent and watched us, probably feeling extremely awkward.

"Yeah," she said, a slight smirk on her face as she assumed i was jealous.

"Oh this is brilliant," I said sarcastically laughing, "Dating my ex boyfriend to piss me off just that little bit more,"

"It has nothing to do with you," she snapped.

"No, you're right it doesn't," I shrugged, "well you're welcome to him, i broke up with him remember,"

"Yeah well your loss, my gain," she said like a four year child. I rolled my eyes at her childish attitude and tried not to let her bother me. I saw Aston's face change when she said that, he looked a little freaked out if i'm honest, i guess their relationship isn't as real as she wants it to be.

"Come on girls, don't argue..this is Charlie's night remember," Rochelle interrupted us.

"Oh i know, i'm not wasting my breath on her. Some people need to learn to move on," I said and sat down in seat, not paying anymore attention to Katie. I was shocked the say the least that Aston had brought Katie, I knew they were close but I didn't think it'd ever go that far.
