Abrielle's POV
"They exchanged numbers and started flirting about what should they put as their contact name for each other! And Kendall was like 'What about cutest guy in school?'"
"Oh my god! Are you kidding me?!" I say in shock while Christina tells me the conversation Tyler and Kendall had yesterday in period 4. We're sitting together in English right now and Ms Vienetta assigned us a worksheet which Christina and I finished in like 2 minutes. Sometimes work in class is so damn boring you finish it quickly and then you're left there waiting for the other dumb-asses to finish. Who is in charge of this education system?!
"Yeah! And he's like 'Ha ha ha I don't know about that.' and then she's like 'Will hottest guy in school be better?' and he replies with 'Aha ha ha okay, if you want. Then should I call you hottest girl in school?' and she's like 'You can call me whatever you want babe.' and they stare at each other like they're so in love omg it was so stupid!" She babbles.
Before I can say anything back she continues on her storytelling. "And you know what happens next? He looks at me and moves back from her, like what the hell?"
"Did you make some weird face at him?" I ask.
"Um, no!"
"You did didn't you."
"Okay, okay, I kind of gave him a dirty look."
"Chimp! It was probably so obvious that you were listening to their chat!"
"Uh sorry," she shrugs her shoulders. "I just had to."
"Speaking of them..." I look around the room. "where are they?"
"I dunno, probably f*cking behind the gym."
I turn red in disgust. "What the f*ck Christina?! That's just... ugh."
"Ooh, you're jealous!" She laughs.
"Um no way! Anyway I'm done with this stupid conversation." I proceed to paste the worksheet in my exercise book. I grab it out of my stack of books, but soon realising I got the wrong one from my locker. This one is maths. "Ugh, I got the wrong book, I gotta go and change it." I tell Christina.
"Ok Abs. You should check the gym in case they're in there doing some dirty stuff. See ya!" She waves.
"F*cking hell Chimp! Just shut up will ya? Anyway I'll be back in like 2 seconds." I say and grab my planner to fill a pass. Ms Vienetta tells me that I can just go without a pass so I thank her and rush outside.
I arrive at the lockers in the hallway and to my surprise, see Kendall leaning against the lockers with Tyler facing her really close, with his arm leaning over her head on the wall. I can feel myself slowly shrinking. I can't help but feel a little jealous. Ugh, why is this happening to me?!
I walk towards my locker with my head down, trying to hide myself. Looks like they haven't noticed me yet. As I literally tiptoe to my locker, my foot slips on the floor and I lose my balance. Luckily I stop in mid-fall and look up at them. Why am I such a klutz? Kendall looks at me with a slight smirk and Tyler looks more shocked than ever. He's most likely surprised at my appearance.
Kendall laughs a little and goes back to flirting with Tyler. He gets distracted and they both continue talking about, god knows what. I feel my face turn red in anger and embarrassment. Why did Tyler just ignore me like that?! I know we're very distant now but... I feel like we should really talk but I don't have the guts to. I just lose my shit every time my mind goes on about him, which is nearly all the time.
As I awkwardly walk towards my locker, I notice it's actually right where Tyler and Kendall are. Like, they're both literally leaning on it. They couldn't pick a better spot to have their stupid together time? And why aren't their asses in class? Are they really gonna skip a damn class to make out?
