Abrielle's POV
I feel sick. My throat feels tight from choking on my tears. I keep on pinching myself, please, please just let this all be a bad dream, the fight with Tyler was not real but every time I open my eyes, i'm not in my comfy pyjamas, tucked safe and soundly in bed, I'm in my crinkled school uniform running through the hallway.
I don't look back at him. My mind tells me to turn around at look back one more time, but I don't. I'm too hurt. I play the fight we had in my head over and over again. You're just a stupid bitch! Those words ring my ears. I am a stupid bitch. If I wasn't then none of this would have happened. Just because I didn't say yes to him, and now I wish I had.
School finished early, since it's the last day of term. My friends and I didn't plan anything, so I'm all alone right now. I really need to call someone, talk to them. That's all I can do right now.
I think about what Christina, Olivia and Nikki are doing. Christina said she's going to soccer training and Olivia's aunt is coming over to her house. I don't think Nikki was busy, she didn't mention she had anything on.
I call her number. "Hello?" She answers.
"Hey Nikki, It's me. I need to tell you something..." I say with a shaky voice.
She murmurs something to someone else and then gets back to the phone."Omg what's wrong?! Do you wanna come over?"
"Okay. Is there someone with you?"
"Yeah it's Brian." My heart feels heavy. I can't tell Brian what happened! He's Tyler's best friend!
"Oh..."
"Uh, well sorry I can't really kick him out..."
"It's okay if he's there, I just don't really wanna tell him."
"Oh ok." She takes a 5 second pause, thinking. "Is Tyler involved?"
"Yeah..."
"Ugh okay," She sighs. "Should we come and get you? Where are you?!" She says in a worried voice.
"Nah, I'm just at school. I'll take the bus to your house." I tell her.
"Okay, come soon. And you need to tell me everything, okay?"
"I will. Bye."
"Okay, bye." I hang up the phone and walk quickly to the bus stop. I see the bus coming and I quickly hop on it. After about 10 minutes the bus passes her house and I get off at the stop. So much stress and anxiety builds up in me I practically run to her front door.
I ring the door bell frantically and Nikki opens the door. She throws her arms at me, giving me a hug. I cry loudly, letting everything out. "It's going to be all right." She reassures me.
We pull out from the hug and she leads me in to go to her room. I haven't been at her house for a while. It has this cosy, country theme to it, complete with a fireplace and antique couches. Most of the furniture is wooden, or has some wood accent to it. Everything neatly matches and the rooms are tidy and clean, unlike my house which always has some random stuff lying around.
We reach her bedroom door and she opens it, inviting me inside. I step in and see Brian laying on her bed wearing headphones, his uniform and hair extremely messy and out of place, shirt crinkled with a few top buttons undone and tie loose, and his school jacket lying on the ground. Not to mention his shorts were unbuttoned and slipping off his hips, nearly revealing his underwear.
I turn to Nikki with a smug look and she grins at me with guilt, her face turning red. "What have guys been up to?" I question with a cheeky smile. I knew exactly what's happened here, they've been up to no good.
