Tyler's POV
Freya's birthday party is today. She's so excited, jumping around the house like a rabbit. Mum bought a new dress for her, purple with a cute big bow at the waist with matching shoes. Her hair is curled and she has the biggest smile ever. I just want to pick her up and give her a big hug. But then she'll kick me and squirm out of my hands.
My mum rushes in the room."Get ready to go now! Dad's waiting at the front for us."
"Okay mum! Tyler let's go!" She grabs my hand and starts running to the door.
I stop her. "Wait I left my phone!" I quickly run to get my phone from the table. "Now let's go!"
About 15 minutes later, we arrive at a pretty Japanese garden. Freya wanted a tea party sort of theme, so my mum opted to have it here. I thought she might have wanted a basketball themed party, but she had that last year. We start setting up at the dining place. Dad ordered these huge platters of sweets, junk food and a big cake in the shape of a flower.
While I'm organizing the table, I turn to Freya. "So how many people are coming?"
"12! Not including parents and stuff." She exclaims.
"12? Jeez! That's a lot of people!" I turn back and continue setting the table. God, how I loved those times. When you had so many friends. No one cared what others thought of them and how many likes you get on Instagram. We just played all day, without a single care in the world. How I hate this generation. Everyone is just so judgemental these days.
Freya's friends start showing up to the party. James, Cady, Gigi, Kate and a whole other bunch of names I can't remember. They all hug Freya one-by-one and give her their present. My present for her is on the table too. It's a pink basketball, I know, not so typical. Just waiting 'till she opens it after the party.
One of the party guests, Sam, comes in. Oh, so that's the Sam Freya was talking about. But why did he ring a bell? Walking behind her is a girl with long kinky hair and big brown eyes. Hey, she looks awfully familiar...well, shit, that's Abrielle.
Abrielle looks at me with a shocked look. So Sam must be her little brother! Why didn't I realise sooner?! I take a look at her, I haven't really seen her wear casual clothes, other than those free dress days at school last year. She's wearing light blue high-waisted jeans with a loosely tucked in white t-shirt. God, her body looks so good and curvy, especially that ass, and her boobs too. I think I'm drooling a bit... Er I mean, she's actually really fat.
We stare at each other for like, two minutes until I walk up to her. "What are you doing here?!"
"Sam's my little brother, I was forced to come here okay, what are YOU doing here?" She snaps back.
"Freya's my little sister, I wasn't actually forced to come here, I wanted to help my sister out, like a good, respectful cool brother." I answer back crossing my arms.
"How cute! I never knew you actually could be nice."
"Like you're not nice."
"I'm nicer than you."
"Well what are you being right now? Don't think that's very nice."
"URGHH you're going to make me mad! You're not being nice either!" Abrielle huffs and walks to Sam and Freya. I walk over there too.
"Happy Birthday Freya! Hey Sam, have you given her birthday present?" She smiles at them. She's like a witch in disguise. Oh wait, she is one.
"Thanks Abrielle! And yeah he already did! Thanks Sam!" She replies happily. Then she points to me. "And there's Tyler, I think he likes you!"
Oh my god! I want to choke Freya so bad. "Ha ha ha really? That's kind of gross!" She laughs and gives me a sinister look. That bitch...
"I know right! He always talks about you." Freya turns to me.
"What?! No I don't! I don't like Abrielle!" I say stubbornly.
"Oh, well I think Abrielle likes you." Sam says.
Abrielle blushes really hard. "No way! I don't like Tyler!"
"Then why do you talk about him?" He questions, looking up at her with big eyes.
She looks away, embarrassed. "I don't!"
Freya pushes me towards Abrielle. "You guys both like each other!" She grabs Sam's arm. "Let's go Sam! I'll introduce you to my friends!"
Abrielle and I stare at each other in surprise. "So you talk about me?" I ask her with a raised eyebrow.
"Um, no! Apparently you talk about ME!" She snaps back and turns to walk away. I see her ass, slightly bouncing up and down as she walks, with her hips swaying. I really want to grab her butt, but then again it's Abrielle. Why would I want to grab a butt of a witch?
For some stupid reason, I follow her. "Hey where are you going?!"
She turns around, frowning. "Away from you!"
I catch up to her. "Can I just hang out with you 'cause I'm bored."
"I don't hang out with people I hate." She looks away and crosses her arms.
I get a weird feeling inside me. No stop! I think, but it's too late, I'm already acting crazy. I step really close to her and whisper into her ear, my lips almost touching her neck, "Please baby girl?"
She whips her head around with wide eyes. "Did you just call me baby girl?!"
I snap out of that strange feeling. "Um, no! You must be delusional or something."
"Stop lying! You did say it!" She shouts at me.
"Okay, well I did, but it was by accident!"
"So you're saying it's just an accident that you happened to call me baby girl?!"
"Well it was an accident! I... I call my girlfriend that all the time, that's why I accidentally called you that." I'm lying, I don't have a girlfriend, unfortunately.
"Yeah right you have a girlfriend! Like who would want to be with you?! A insane person I'd say!" and with that, she walks away, leaving me lost for words.
I walk back to the dining area. Freya and her party guests are about to start the first game. I look back at Abrielle once more. She's standing on a quaint little red bridge overlooking a fish pond. Her eyes shoot me a look that hits my chest. I look away, avoiding that painfully awkward stare. Abrielle is so feisty sometimes, she needs to take a chill pill once in a while. Or is it because I'm around her? Probably.
