Tyler's POV
As I walk to period 4 I spot Kendall in the hallway and say hi. I'm not sure if this whole 'be with Kendall to not think about Abrielle' scheme is going to work, but I'm giving it a try. Kendall seems to be obsessed with me and she's hot too, so that's good I guess. But when we talked in maths I could feel Abrielle watching us, probably listening to our conversation too. Is she jealous? Or mad? Wait, I need to stop thinking about her, or else I'll go crazy.
"Hi Tyler! Let's walk to class together." She smiles. Her smile is much more different from Abrielle's. It's not cute like hers, Kendall's smile is more seductive and sexy. I kind of like that. It really draws you into her.
When we arrive at class I sit my books down in the second row while Kendall takes a seat next to me. Christina walks through the door in a rush, sitting behind us. She gives me a sort of evil look which makes me gulp. "Um, hey Christina." I wave nervously.
She hesitates for a while before saying anything. "...hey." I used to sit with Christina, but ever since that 'event', she's been pretty distant. She probably hates me too, after hearing about what happened between Abrielle and I.
A few other people walk in, including Jackson. He pulls a chair next to me and notices Kendall sitting next to me. "I guess the plan's starting to work?" He whispers to me.
"Yeah, but I still think about Abrielle too much." I quietly say back.
"Don't worry, she'll take your mind off her." He reassures. I really hope so.
After the bell rings, the teacher, Mrs Dently, announces the lesson plan. "This lesson will be finishing off your research assignment about excersise that you started on Monday. Those who have already finished can have free time." That's good to hear, I've already finished mine on Monday, it was easy.
"Ugh! I still have to finish mine." Kendall opens her laptop. "So, should we start talking about studying tonight?"
"Yeah, sure. Want me to come to your house?"
"Yeah, you can come after school and stay as long as you want, my mum isn't home 'till like 10, and my dad's on a business trip. So we'll be alone." She winks. This girl is flirty as hell.
"Sounds good. I'll let my mum know right now." I whip out my phone and text my mum. Hey mum, I'm gonna study with a girl called Kendall, she's new to our school and she needs help with maths. Love Tyler.
"Great, that's all sorted." She takes out her phone . "What's your number by the way?"
"It's 0407838342." I say while she types the numbers. "What's yours?"
"0439728344." My fast fingers type it down.
"Cool. Hmm, what should I name you as my contacts?"
"I dunno, Tyler?"
She laughs at my straight answer. "No, silly! I want to name you something different." She twirls her hair in thought. "What about 'cutest guy in school'?"
I blush a little and rub my neck. "Ha ha ha, I don't know about that."
"Then will 'hottest guy in school' be better?" She teases.
"Aha ha ha, okay, if you want. Then should I call you 'hottest girl in school'?"
"You can call me whatever you want. babe." She winks again. It's actually pretty fun flirting with Kendall. We look at each other for a while. You can see the excitement in her deep green eyes. She rests my hand on my arm and I tense up a little. Her expression is so alluring, I just want to kiss her, but now isn't a really good time.
