Tyler's POV
Everything's moving so fast.
I've met Abrielle again after 4 years, and not even 12 hours have passed we've already kissed. I guess we really missed each other.
She pulls back from the kiss and hugs me, crying. "I'm sorry I let you go, I didn't realise how much I missed you."
I stroke her wild curly hair. "It's okay, I'm sorry for everything too. I missed you so much."
She looks up at me. "Like seriously Ty, I really did miss you. I regret so many things..."
I feel a tear trickle down my face. "I do too."
We hug for a while, I feel like her body will sink into mine.
"So, what are Alex, Brian and Jackson doing?" We throw ourselves on the couch and she rests her head on my chest. It's a cold day and her warmth against my body feels like summer.
"Alex has a part time job as an assistant chef and is taking a course in hospitality. Brian is going to university doing sport science, and Jackson is working in a business firm and doing a course in business management." I say.
"Woah that's cool, wish them all the best."
"Yeah. What are Nikki, Christina and Olivia doing? I wasn't really friends with them after what happened. I never got around to farewelling them at graduation."
"Oh that's okay, I've been told by them all about you, they were documenting what you did every day, but after a few weeks they stopped." Were they really watching me? I didn't even notice, girls are sneaky. "Nikki is doing a nursing course, Christina is becoming a track athlete, and Olivia is going to uni to do a bachelor's degree in mathematics."
"Nice, really? They were watching me? A bit creepy don't you reckon?" I laugh.
"Yes true," she giggles. "I wish I did say bye to you properly though."
"Same. Oh well, lucky we're together now." I say. She nods her head and blinks slowly. I feel her wriggling to make herself more comfortable.
We talk more for the rest of the afternoon and evening. I stare at her lips the entire time, I want to kiss her again so badly, but I'm not sure if she's in the mood.
Abrielle gets up from the couch picks up her phone. "Wanna order some Chinese food? I'm hungry as fuck."
"Yeah sure, I'll just have some prawn dumplings and fried wontons if they have, I'll pay."
"All good, I'll pay." She insists.
"No no, I will." I argue.
"No! I'm paying."
"No I am!"
"Ok then, if you want to," She laughs. "God, we're already fighting."
"You're still a feisty one aye." I wink. Jesus, the fights we used to have. Too many to count.
Abrielle orders the food and it comes in about 15 minutes. We eat on the dining table, but shortly moving to the floor so we could watch a movie while eating.
She pulls out a DVD, Clueless. I haven't watched it before.
"You haven't watched it before?!" She cries, shocked. "It's the best movie!"
"Well girly chick-flick movies aren't really my thing," I give an excuse.
"Well now they're gonna be your thing if I'm around." She grins.
We watch the movie, cuddled up in blankets and pillows. Most of the time I look at Abrielle instead of concentrating on the movie. I just can't keep my eyes off of her. I love her so much, and I felt like the happiest guy on earth when she said she loves me too.
