The Zexi ship has sunk
After four long years of being together, Zayn Malik and Lexi Holt have ended their relationship. Just last month, the two seemed to be happily in love with one another, but at the end of August, it all seemed to change.
Lexi posted a picture of herself sitting in front of a mirror looking quite sad. The Little Mix singer captioned it "@lexiholt: you left and now I'm all alone here."
Days later, Zayn posted a picture on Instagram. His picture was of a piece of paper saying "I'm sorry I fucked up, and I'm sorry I can't fix it." The ex One Direction member also added the following caption: "@zayn: I never meant for it to be like this. It was never my intention to hurt you, but somehow that's exactly what I ended up doing. I'm sorry princess."
It was on that post the Lexi confirmed the breakup. The singer simply said yes to a fan that had questioned if the two had broken up. Zayn is still to say something about this matter, but with all the evidence we have as of right now it points to Zayn being the cause of the breakup.
Former bandmate of Zayn, Louis Tomlinson, has offered support for both Zayn and Perrie. Eleanor Calder, ex-girlfriend of Louis Tomlinson, has told Lexi that she and Danielle Peazer, ex-girlfriend of Liam Payne, should get together soon. Which Lexi happily agreed to. Harry Styles was also quick to tell Lexi he's going to take her out clubbing when she's in London. Harry and Lexi always had a close friendship when Zayn was still in the band and dating Lexi.
It is also believed that Lexi left the couple's shared home in London and went to see her sister, Claire Holt, in Atlanta. Claire Holt had posted about a Disney movie night with Lexi and her The Vampire Diaries castmates.
