"This can't be true. I'm dreaming. I'm dreaming. I'm totally dreaming. Something like that could never happen..."

"Will you shut up? You are getting really annoying!" Calissa growled out, resisting the urge to punch him.

Peter paused his pacing to turn to her for a moment. He stared at her blankly, then his eyes widened once more. He pointed his finger at her, "How could I not? It was magic! Magic! You used magic! What will my parent's say about this? Or my village? The king! Does he know? He has to! His son uses magic as well! Magic!"

He had been going on like this for a past few hours, mumbling to himself and trying to figure out what he had seen. By then, the sun set had arrived and people were gathering in the hall for dinner, leaving them in the fields alone.

Feeling her nerves had reached their limit, she stood up from her position on the ground and grabbed a fistful of his shirt. He let out a small cry of shock as she glared daggers at him. If looks could kill, he would have been dead centuries ago.

"Shut up," she said in a low voice, "I'll explain everything you want to know, but you have to calm down. I can't have everyone knowing that magic still exists. It'll ruin the balance between the magic world and the normal world. You're lucky that you're even still alive with all your memories still intact in that little brain of yours. Most wizards will most like kill or brainwash you before you could even speak the word 'magic'."

"Then why haven't you?"

"Because I'm nice," she let go of his shirt, letting him stumble back, "and if you want to keep me that way, I suggest you listen." He brushed off his shirt, grumbling under his breath. She narrowed her eyes, "What did you just say?"

"Nothing," he lifted his hands up in defense. He stared at her for a moment later before lowering them, "Come to think of it. Something does make me curious."

"And what's that?"

"The prince-- he called you Cayla, didn't he?"

For once, the boy in front of her rendered her speechless. She swallowed a lump in her throat, her hands sweaty from the nervousness starting to build up in her stomach, "So what?" she forced out.
