Chapter 3

U were mortified. Thomas had completely shut u off. Everyday u would try to catch his eye on history, try to smile in his direction in geography, and even dropped a pen *accidentally* under his chair in science! Nothing worked. He would just sigh his signature sigh at the moment and look away as if ashamed. U suppose he was just embarrassed about the other day, but that made u upset about the fact that maybe he just lost himself, that he thought it was a huge mistake, that he knew it would be crazy for him to like someone like u. Meanwhile u couldn't stop thinking about what might've happened....

It was Friday, your last chance to talk to Thomas before he was gone for the week long half term. Just the thought of leaving this mess unspoken about for that long made u wince. U had to do something. Today. Suddenly, u saw him at his locker, alone and looking pretty done with the day already. Ok, ok come on I can do this u said quietly to yourself. Mustering up the courage, u started to walk casually up to the locker. "Y/N!!!!!!!" U heard hammering through the corridor. "WE NEED U TO HELP GUIDE THIS YEAR 7 TO THE MAIN OFFICE!!!" At the sound of ur name, Thomas looked up, slammed his locker shut and sped away around the corner and out of the building. "Shit!" You swore, mumbling under ur breath. Brushing off the year 7 as fast as u could and passing them over to another class mate. You dashed in the direction Thomas went.

Around the corner, you saw Holly and Charlotte, walking and laughing with the other new boy Dylan. Grasping ur chance, you walk up to them."Have u guys seen where Thomas went?"Dylan spoke up, "yeah sure he just went into that music practice room, he does play guitar u know." God does this boy get any better?! "Well thanks" u said. U then sped off towards the nearest music room and sure enough, Thomas sat there playing some sad song on his guitar. Taking a deep breath, u opened the door and stepped inside. "What w-why are u h-here?"He stammered, already getting up to go. "No no wait please!"U shouted slightly and made him sit back down again. "Look, "you began, "I know what happened on Monday was weird and I'm sorry. But I can't let u leave for half term without making this right between us. Please Thomas, I just want us to be able to look at each other without running away! "

He stared at u for a minute, just looking up at u for what felt like ages. He then stood up too. "y/n, I would never want to run away from u, I just felt so embarrassed, like I'd forced u to do something u didn't want to. ""Nothing could be further from the truth! "U said laughing....
And then you were kissing, u felt the softness of his lips upon yours and this time there was no bell, no interruptions, no stopping the two of u from showing ur true feelings together. It was perfect.
