Chapter 13

"U were faking ," u said, u voice surprisingly calm and strong considering the situation, "exactly how did you remember what I said to you if you can't REMEMBER anything! You were faking weren't you!"

He sat there in the bed, his head lowered, not even looking at you- his voice came out squeaky and strange, "I mean I don't really have um amnesia....I was um-"
"U LIED to me?! What the hell for?!"
"Oh god y/n don't do this to me.... I thought if u believed I couldn't remember u, then u would think I couldn't remember the warehouse either... That we could start again maybe."

His words were supposed to make u react positively, make u want to comfort him and prove to him that the warehouse wasn't his fault, but instead they filled u with rage that made it difficult for u to breathe. "Thomas, when u say u wanted to forget the warehouse...that wouldn't be because you're ashamed of what I did, would it?"

U knew you'd gotten it right the moment u said it. As u spoke, Thomas looked even further away from u in response.

"I see," u breathed, "u couldn't face up to the fact that drug dealer got in between us." Tears started dripping down ur face now as u stared at the boy u loved more than anything. "Thomas, look at me." When he didn't, u started to get even more infuriated. "Thomas LOOK AT ME!!!!"
"I CANT OK?! IM ASHAMED OF MYSELF!!!!! IM ASHAMED I BEAT UP HENRY, IM ASHAMED I WENT TO THAT WAREHOUSE, IM ASHAMED I LET U DO WHAT U DID AND IM ASHAMED THAT I CANT SEEM TO STOP LYING TO U!!!!"
Thomas was truly yelling now, causing Holly, Dylan and Charlotte to rush in to help u.
"Y/N, I don't know what is wrong with me or why I did what I did. But what I do know is that ever since u met me, ur life has gone to SHIT. And I can't bear it anymore. If you thought I'd forgotten u, maybe you would've moved on. But I can't even do THAT right!"

Thomas turned away from u, his face hidden by his hands. U turned to ur friends, who looked just as shocked as u were. Standing up and brushing yourself down, u pushed past them and slammed the door, pausing only to say to Thomas, "Don't you dare try to find me a way out unless I ASK FOR IT."

U could hear your friends gasp as u walked out of the hospital, but u knew that no one would try to follow u. Getting into the car that ur parents had brought round that morning, u drove off without another word.

That car ride gave u time to think, time to marvel at the stupidity of Thomas' actions. U both knew that he didn't want to leave u, but that night in the warehouse had definitely caused a rift between you, one that he obviously couldn't handle fixing.

You pulled up outside a park, one you'd hoped to take Thomas to one day, and just sat in the car with no idea where to go from there.

Suddenly, ur phone started buzzing inside the compartment of the car. Yanking it out, u saw the caller id on the screen- Minho, aka your ex
