Chapter 28

You looked up at Dylan and holly but no words were spoken, they knew it was from the doctor as well. You all went back to were Thomas was on the sofa just staring at the blank TV screen. Dylan crouched In front of Thomas, holly on his left and you on his right. You and holly both took a hand of his and Dylan put his hands on Thomas's knees. You started opening the envelope with your free hand whilst kissing his head gently. Holly rubbed soothing circles in his hand in a friendly matter and Dylan smiled at Thomas whilst rubbing his hands in circles on Thomas's knees.

You started to read it out loud."For Thomas's surgery he will need to bring loose fitting  pjs or the hospital gowns provided. Wash hair night before and can't wash hair for 3 days post operation. No make up. No hair gel. No jewellery. No food from the night before until told otherwise. Last drink at 6:30am the morning before. No hair bands.
Time of operation: 10:30am but be at hospital by 9:00am for pre operation check up and scan. At this Thomas visibly flinched at the thought of needles but Dylan calmed him down. Surgery will be 8hours long but will be put under by drugs for about 2 days. Solution will go through the system and will send Thomas to sleep and after we be in recovery. As soon as we get a reaction out of him we will send close friends in until he fully wakes up. If sleepy after surgery we will let him sleep and feed him through tubes in his nose. He can leave the hospital 2 weeks after so close friends may want to pack a bag for the long stay. Pain killers will be provided to take once a day for a year and regular checkups once s month will be emailed for dates near the time. Before drugged we will explain the operation and the risks. Please can Thomas sign the concent form to not sue if any risks occur. One person may be with him whilst the drugs pull him under but up to 4 can be with him in the hospital ward before, during and after he has been anisitaised (can't spell it😂👌🏻). Any questions will be answered on the day.
Also this is a non smoking hospital. "

(Sorry for all the medical stuff but it had to be done, also I put all I could remember that was in my list when I had my eye operation 😂😂)

Once you read it out loud Thomas looked the same as he has the past few days. No emotion.

You handed him a pen and the concent form. He slowly took  it with a shaky hand. He started to shake really really bad and neither u nor holly could control him. Dylan was the one who brought him back. "Hey hey buddy , bud it's ok look at me, everything will be alright ok you just need to take baby steps and the first step is signing this ok Tom? "Thomas signed the form and gave it back to me which I was already putting in the bag to take with us for his stay at the hospital.

Dylan and holly went home after a while and agreed to meet in the morning to go to the hospital on the leg ward (?) . You gave Thomas a meal because he couldn't eat for a while and u would give him done water in the morning for his final dose. You ran him a bath(with lots of bubbles u dirty readers 😏) and washed his hair.

You gave him his pjs and he mumbled a thanks before you both kind of fell into bed and disappear into the world of dreams already dreading waking up in the morning...
