Chapter 24

The film finished an hour ago and then you both just stared at the blank screen not talking to each other. Another hour after that you got fed up with the awkward silence. You were about the break the silence but Thomas beat you to it. "Y/N "he whispered. "I'm scared. " He looked down and tears slipped down his face. You turned to face him. You tried to force his chin up but he shooed your hand away. You sighed and bend down so you were eye level with him. You spoke quietly but sternly, "Thomas baby, I love you so much that it hurts when you ignore me. I know it's easier to give into the pain and shut out the people that love you the most but Tommy you need to fight it, dont give this stupid thing the power. You need to show it who's boss." You gently told him.

He slowly lifted his head, his tired eyes meeting your kind ones. He squeezed your hands once and gave you a weak smile. You smiled back and pulled him into a standing position. As you began to pull him into a hug his body crashed into yours with a thud. He clung to you like you were going to disappear. You hugged back just as tight, standing on your tippy toes because he was taller than you. He kissed the top of your head and said "thank u Y/N I don't deserve you. " "Of course you do. "You smiled into his shoulder. "And btw I'm coming with you to the doctors Monday. "He just nodded and sighed.

Monday morning came around and you both walked to the doctors hand in hand. "You ready? "You asked him stroking his hand with your thumb. "No "he told you with a nervous smile. Together you walked into the doctors and sat in the waiting room. Waiting and waiting, the tension thick in the air. Then the doctor came in and asked for you guys to follow. You obliged and followed the doctor that holds Thomas's fate. The doctor spoke. "Take a seat...."
