You woke up to your last few hours in Italy with Thomas lying peacefully next to you and smiling, his eyes bright and alive with love. You smiled back at him and inched closer as you began to kiss and make out on the bed.

When you were finished, Thomas took a piece of your hair in his fingers and fiddled with it.
"Morning y/n. Did u sleep ok?"
"Great thanks. I had a weird dream though."
He sat up more in the bed and looked concerned.
"Oh yeah? What about?"
You giggled, "I dreamt that i was going out with this right weirdo, Thomas Sangster. I don't suppose you've heard of him?"
Catching onto your joke, Thomas laughed, "oh sure, I heard he was stunningly handsome!"
"Well- yeah that's true."
He playfully hit your shoulder as you laughed and he sprung out of the bed.

"Hey, y/n! We should go swimming! Remember we said we'd do that? There's a pool right downstairs!"
"Sure! Let's ask the others too!"

20 minutes later you were all standing on the pool edge, laughing and joking about the water temperature. You all looked pretty similar in your costumes, apart from Charlotte. She stood there in a one piece, quite self conscious and clutching her stomach- she was starting to get a slight bump. Minho kept assuring her she looked beautiful, but still she worried. Getting an idea that would either get you killed or praised for, you walked up to Charlotte and pushed her into the water. She fell, shrieking and laughing, but before you could let go she'd pulled you in too!
You both came up to the surface and laughed, Charlottes insecurities gone. Taking a hint from you two, everyone else jumped in with a splash and a cry of excitement.

You had the best time, swimming up and down the spacious pool, splashing each other and chatting. You must've looked like a bunch of 5 year olds- but you didn't care. You were having the most fun you'd had in ages and you didn't care what anyone else thought.

After your swim, you all walked out into the reception to see Antonio, tanned and handsome, beaming at Edie as she approached with wet hair and a huge smile on her face. She really did look happy.
"Antonio! It's so great to see you!" Staring around shyly at the rest of you, Edie proceeded to talk quietly in fairly decent Italian to Antonio!
"si guarda bello, Antonio"
"Non bella come te"
(This was from google translate so is unlikely to be completely accurate😂)
Edie giggled and stood on her tiptoes as the two of them tentatively kissed.

"Wow Edie," said Dylan, "I didn't know you spoke Italian!"
"Well, I don't really. Antonio's just been teaching me a few phrases" she blushed and smiled up at Antonio again before leading him over to the nearby cafe, probably saying their goodbyes.

You still had half an hour to wait before your taxi would take you to the airport, so you spent the time drinking champagne and discussing baby names with Minho and Charlotte. You and Thomas seemed to have some good ideas, but Holly and Dylan's were awful! You laughed as they proposed their next idea: Mildred.
"But Charlotte, it's a classic name! My great aunt was called Mildred!"
Holly genuinely looked baffled as Charlotte and the rest of you laughed at her terrible name choice.
"But holly," Charlotte said gently, "Mildred is an old woman's name! Why do you think it was your GREAT AUNTS name?"
You all laughed, Holly eventually giving up and laughing along with you.

By the time your taxi had arrived, Edie and Antonio had returned, both looking teary eyed and full of longing. Antonio helped Edie into the great black cab, kissing her hand and eventually on the lips. They clung to each other desperately, causing the rest of you to roll your eyes and look away. Honestly!

Finally after 3 hours of airport chaos and endless passport checking you sat on the plane, snuggling up to Thomas and looking out of the window at the world below. It seemed to shimmer and glow as the sun melted into the horizon, merging from reds to oranges to dandelion yellow. Soft, wispy pink clouds adorned the spectacle, giving the entire view a sort of haze that made you sleepy. It truly was beautiful.

You sighed into Thomas' shirt and curled your legs around his.
"Oh Thomas. Thank you. Thank you for this trip, for my bracelet, for our friends and for our home. I can honestly say to you that despite all we've been through, it has been worth it. I know it's cheesy and I'm probably a bit tipsy from the drinks we had earlier, but I love you. I really really do."
Thomas smiled and cuddled you close whilst the plane hummed around you.
"I do too y/n. Everyday."
