CHAPTER 23

"Lalo atang dumami ang customers a." George stated.

"You bet. Mas marami ang nagpunta ngayon sa resto mo dahil sa kanila." Cent said.

Thunder, Atlas, Cruise, Silver, Rage and Chance are one of the waiters sa The 22nd Avenue ngayong araw. While, Hero, Diamond, Ligaya and Perena are the one taking the orders. Si Ethan minsan lumalabas pa ng kitchen kapag may commendation galing sa customer.

"This will be a long day." George and Cent stated. Napatawa na lang sila. Kahit nasa cashier sila, marami rin silang ginagawa.

"Mond, table 21. Taro milkshake." George called Diamond.

"Alright." Kinuha naman ito ni Diamond sa counter.

Everyone's busy as of the moment. Pabalik balik na sa counter ang mga waiters ngayon. Pinagbebreak ni George ang mga ito. Pero mamaya na lang daw. Dahil kita nilang ang dami nang customers. Kumuha sila ng ilang slice ng banana bread.

It was already 8:30 in the evening nang mag-close na ang resto. They've decided to take their dinner already.

"Since everyone is definitely a big help today, you can choose at the menu which you would eat." Kuya Marco said.

Damn, gutom na nga sila. Ang dami nilang napili sa menu. Tanging tunog lang ng kubyertos ang maririnig dahil ni isa walang nagsasalita.

Nakatambay na lang sila sa may parking with mugs of coffee in their hands.

"Guys, thank you. Daming kita ng resto." Ethan said. Natawa naman sila.

"Sige. Hanggang Friday kami tutulong." Atlas said habang natatawa.

"What? Seryoso?" George asked.

"Ask T." Atlas answered.

"Di nga, Kulog?"

"Yea. We deciced. So, until Friday. But Rage, Chance, Ligaya and Perena aren't sure yet. They still have ojts to attend to."

"Okay lang yon. Andyan naman kayo e. Asan si bff?"

"Changing her clothes."

"Sayo ba sasabay si bff? Ang alam ko coding ngayon yun e."

"Yea. She's with me."

"Okay ka lang?" Tanong ni Hero kay Thunder.

"Yea. Its just that my right arm is kind of. I don't know. What's the word?"

"Ngalay ba?"

"Yea. Sort of."

"Ako na magda-drive."

"But H--" Tinaasan ni Hero ng kilay si Thunder. "Fine. You'll drive."

Nginitian naman ni Hero si Thunder at mahinang tinapik sa pisngi nito. "Good."

"You're using your charm against me, don't you?" Thunder groaned.

"No, I'm not." She innocently answered.

"Yea. You're not." Thunder rolled his eyes at inayos ang seatbealt nito. She just tucked her tongue out at him.

"Sleep. I'll just wake you up." She said. Alam niyang mas maraming trinabaho ang mga lalake kesa sa kanila.

After a few minutes, she could hear Thunder's little snores.

Pagod nga. She mentally told her self.
