CHAPTER 38

Nadatnan ni Thunder si Hero sa kusina ng mga Villacencio na kumakain ng strawberry na sinasawsaw nito sa pinaghalo nitong whipped cream at nutella.

Hero is frowning. Kagagaling lang kasi niya sa court at nakipaglaro kina Ethan, Nikolai, Chance, Rage and Shiloh.

"Hey, muffin." He greeted her. Napatingin naman ito sa kanya saka lalong ngumuso.

"What's the matter?"

"Ang taba taba ko na!" Hero whined.

"And so?" He answered.

"Ang taba ko na nga. Baka hindi na magkasya sakin yung wedding gown."

He chuckled. "It'll fit. And you're not fat."

"Ih. Baka ipagpalit mo ako! Sinasabi ko sayo, Erwann Thunder! Hindi ko 'to ilalabas!"

Lalo siyang natawa. He already asked her mom kung napaparanoid ba ang mga buntis. Umuo ito. Hero's not the paranoid type. Pero sa ngayon, mukang nangyayare na.

"Good. Where's Yosef?"

"Nakila Seb e. Kasama si Zeno."

"Alright. I'll just take a quick shower."

"Okay." Binalik uli nito ang pagkain sa strawberries. He grab one and pop onto his mouth. Its a good thing na gan'to lang ang pinaglihihan ni Hero. Hindi siya pinapahirapan.

Naabutan niya sa sala nila si Shiloh at Hero. Hero was busy watching tv, habang si Shiloh naman, busy sa pagdutdot sa phone nito. Sanay na silang bigla na lang sumusulpot si Shiloh sa bahay ng mga Villacencio. Tutal naman, kapitbahay lang nila ang mga Valenciaga.

"Bayaw!" Shiloh greeted him.

"Hey." He greeted back.

"Sama ka mamaya?"

"Where?"

"iCavern. Kina Yvo."

He looked at Hero. Nakatutok pa rin ito sa tv. "She knows." Shiloh stated.

"You can go." Saad nito.

"You sure, muffin?"

Tumango ito. "Pupunta si George dito mamaya, okay lang ba? Pati ata si Ate Paris."

"Sige. Pero bawal ka magpuyat."

Hero giggled. "Opo."

Natawa na lang din si Shiloh. Minsan nga lang kasi siya magtagalog. Napailing na lang siya.

"Oh pano, I'll go ahead. Matutulog muna ako." And on cue Shiloh yawned. "Bye, bunso." Shiloh kisses Hero's hair. "Bye, bayaw."

"Layas na. Istorbong 'to." He saw Hero rolled her eyes. Natawa na lang sila ni Shiloh.

Shiloh salute at him.

Nilapitan niya si Hero na busy sa panunuod. He snuggled on her neck and lightly kisses it. He really likes Hero's smell. Amoy vanilla kasi. Isama pang humahalo na rin ang amoy ng strawberries dito. It was always a sweet mixture of strawberries, vanilla and floral scent.
