There are flashbacks in the story, they are not in order by the chapter in order to create relevance and build suspense.
Three timelines I'm running along:
#1 - Scarlett is 16 in flashbacks to one year ago. (Italics)
#2 - Scarlett is 14 in flashbacks to three years ago. (Italics)
#3 - Scarlett is 17 in present story. (Regular)
Note: In the 5 year gap epilouge, Italics are to 5 years ago.
