THE STORY OF BERNICE

CHAPTER 15

Maagang nagising si Chesca to prepare a special breakfast for her hubby, she cooked Bacon and Egg Casserole, Apple Pancakes and freshly brewed coffee plus slices of fresh fruits. Umakyat na ulit si Chesca sa room nila after magluto.

C: good morning baby, happy birthday!

F: hi Good morning! Thanks baby! (inaantok pa siya.. late na siya nakatulog last night)

C: get up, I prepared a special breakfast for you baby.

F: later na, im still sleepy. (he checked his phone, 630AM) ang aga mo naman kase nagising. (he closed his eyes again ad cuddled his wife till he fell asleep again)

C: Baby, gising na you’ll be late for work..

F: I’ll call Pam later and tell her Im still in bed with my lovely wife. For sure she’ll understand, and she knows what to do.

C: eh hindi mo naman pinansin yung breakfast na niluto ko..

F: no worries baby, I’ll eat it later. (then they heard knocks on their bedroom door) ok here are the kids… (he said sarcastically, siniko siya ni Chesca. the twins entered, naka pajamas pa ang mga ito)

KathRyn: Hi mom, dad! Good morning! Happy Birthday dad!

F: thanks honey, where’s my birthday kiss? (the kids kissed their dad)

Kristoff: dad, look, we made something for you. (he handed him a card they personally made.) Mom helped us with that one.

F: it’s nice honey thank you!

C: ok babies, ask yaya violy to help you get dress ok? (then she gave the twins a wink)

Kath: bye dad! Happy Birthday, love you!

F: love you too honey.

Kris: see you later dad! (lumabas na yung twins sa room nilang mag asawa)

F: what’s your plan??

C: I haven’t planned anything baby. bakit?

F: you didn’t even want to surprise me huh!

C: im not good in giving surprises, alam mo yun. 

F: kahet birthday kiss wala? (pagtatampo nito. his wife kissed him) thanks baby!

C: dali bihis ka na, you’ll be late for work! Baba lang ako to ckeck on the kids.

Bumaba si Chesca because she prepared a party for her hubby. Maaga pa lang nagluluto na ang mom niya at mom ni Francis for the party. They set up sa garden, she invited all their friends… few days back, she asked Pam to cancel Francis’ appointments for the day. They will be spending the whole day at home. Lunch and dinner will be catered that day.

Isa isa ng dumadating ang barkada ni Francis she need to delay him from going down stairs kaya nagstay siya sa room nila. 

F: papasok na *** dalawa?

C; hindi pa, nandiyan pa.. ayaw ngang pumasok kase baka daw aalis tayo. Baby, wag ka na kayang pumasok?

F: I wanted to, but I can’t. ang dami kong meeting today.

C: akala ko ba the managers can handle the meetings na?

F: ibang meeting to baby eh, prospective client to.

C; sige, bahala ka. (kunwari nagtatampo pero alam niyang naresched na din ang meeting na tinutukoy ni Francis.)

F: promise, we’ll go home early, ok? (she nodded) di ka papasok? (she shrugged) pasok ka na, ok? After my meeting, uuwi na tayo, swear.
