CHAPTER 30

Almost two years ng wala sina Chesca at Kiko. And the kids badly miss them. Nasa bahay nila sina Albie and Cha, spending dinner with them.

Kath: gosh, I badly miss mom and dad…

Karl: yah ate, me too, as in a lot.

Toff: malapit na Anniversary nila, what’s the plan kaya?

Kath: anong sabi ni Tita Gianne?

Toff: I’m waiting for her call pa e. I don’t want to decide on that naman.

On that cue, Kristoff’s phone rang.

Toff: Hi Tita. Okay, so next week it’s sure na? okay we’ll coordinate.. thanks tita bye, love you.

Kath: anong sabi toff?

Toff: sure na daw next week, we’ll have a simple get together for mom and dad’s anniversary.

Kath: good, (to Albie) hon help me out na lang to contact the caterers?

Albie: sure thing.

Cha: good ako na lang cocontact sa mag aayos ng venue.

Toff: thanks sweetie.

Karl; anong gagawin ko kuya?

Kath: just ask Julia to come over, okay?

Albie: oo para mameet na namen yung GF mo..

Karl: naman, kuya Albie, she’ll be here for sure, she wouldn’t miss it.

Kath: who are we expecting ba toff?

Toff: mom and dad’s friends will be here daw, pero tita Gianne will contact them na lang daw.

Kath: ah okay, I’ll talk to the caterers na bukas before ako sa office.

Kath is now working in their company while Toff is with the Aquino’s business. Karl is still studying and is on his last year in college; he will soon join the Arellano’s business naman. After dinner Kath and Albie stayed sa garden for a while.

Albie: o umiiyak ka nanaman, stop crying na.

Kath: I just miss them a lot.

Albie: stop worrying na, I know naman they’re happy coz they’re together. (he hugged his girl to lessen her sadness) baka pag nakita ka nilang uiiyak, sabihin pinapaiyak kita, masisira imaga ko nun.

Kath: ikaw, image mo pa din iniisip mo.

Albie: ayoko kaseng makitang malungkot ka, the more na nalulungkot ka ako. 

Before midnight umalis na din si Albie dahel maaga pa ito the next day para samahan si kath sa caterers. Before their parents anniversary, nagsleep over na sina Albie and Cha sa bahay nila to help them out. Kath and Cha were cleaning their parents’ room.

Kath: kung andito kaya sila mommy and daddy, ano kayang ginagawa nila ngayon?

Cha: for sure they’re spending quiet times together again, like they usually do…

Kath: surely, ganun nga. Haha. Funny how they never get bored with each other no.. I remember before halos 24/7 silang magkasama, saw or then dito sa house. Dad never wants mom to be away from him for a long time. Insane one hour pa lang wala si mom, he keeps calling her na. si dad talaga ( she said while reminiscin time with her parents.)

Cha: oo nga, nakkwento so Toff saken yun, to think na they were together since college. Whoa, that’s very long time huh…

Kath: true. And I really want that kind of relationship.. yung pang forever na. I remember telling dad pa that if I will marry someone, I have to make sure first na tulad siya ni dad.
