When You Look At It That Way

Love life part one

His name was Joseph, Joey for short. I was his best friend in third grade, and in fourth grade I should have taken the hints, but I didn't.

In fourth grade he went up to Allyson, who's twin sister Hanna was following behind him. He gave her a letter that said I like you, will you go out with me? I didn't have a crush on him yet so I was happy for her and her 'boyfriend'.

Over the next few weeks, Allyson discovered that Joey was using her to get to Hanna. That was the first hint that he was no good.

Then the summer came, and I was sleeping over at Allyson's house.

"Do you want to know what Joey said?" Hanna asked me. "He said he's totally in love with you, he wants to make out with you!"

At first I didn't believe her but I found out it was true; so I fell down into the pit of despair. Fifth grade passed by and I was still in love with him. In sixth grade, I heard that Joey was dating this girl named Claire.

I was heart broken, and now he's in my Sunday school class. Which causes a lot of drama, I'm not sure if he's just tired or what but he keeps on staring at me and it's kinda creeping me out. Oh well, I didn't care because I had found a new crush, who I thought liked me back for a long time. But that wasn't even the biggest problem.
