The biggest problem was that one of my best friends, Nadia, had a huge crush on him. On the way back from our field trip, I had to tell her that I had a crush on Ace.
"Hey Nadia, I have a new crush," I told her.
"Who is it?!"
"Umm... ihaveacrushonyourcrushace,"
"What? Spell it out for me!"
I had to play it safe, I was about to spell Ace but smarted out and used his twin brother Aiden. "A- I -D -E -N."
"Why him?" Nadia asked.
To be honest the only reason my crush formed was because of her talking about him so much. I had to make up some things.
The next year, I still had a crush on him, but I thought that he liked me back because all signs pointed to him. Even though it might sound crazy, I had a spy to spy on him. And I really thought that he liked me.
But then I figured out that all signs pointed to him having a crush on this other girl named Ashley. And that bothered me a lot because Ashley is kind of a popular girl, who if you know me, then you know I hate those popular people things.
Just because I'm not popular doesn't mean I'm not likeable.
My love life stinks....
