TJ smiled bright as his newborn daughter nearly fell asleep in the sink. No, he didn't just put you there, he's not stupid. He just didn't have a baby bath yet.

"TJ?" He didn't take his eyes off of you as he picked you up from the sink. "Hey, mom." He laid you on the towel he'd laid out to set you on as he dressed you.

"I'm so proud of you, darling." His mother kissed his cheek. TJ smiled and easily swaddled you. "Thanks."

He backed away so that Elaine could pick you up. "She's so precious."

"Yeah. She knows it too. If she wasn't half asleep, she'd probably start smiling." TJ's only had the small girl a few days, but he'd already started to notice her little quirks.

"How's Jas?"

"She's good. Said her parents are treating her much better now that I have custody of Y/N." Jas was the girl that TJ had slept with means to check to make sure he was still gay. But it had quickly resulted in her being pregnant.

She had repeatedly told TJ that she couldn't raise a child in the environment she had grown up in. The beatings and yelling..TJ would never subject a child-his child to the kind of suffering. So, they'd compromised. TJ got custody of you and she would visit as often as she could.

"Ah, there's my favourite niece!" Douglas took you from your grandmother, and laid down quickly, waking you from almost sleep.

"Douglas be careful with my child." TJ watched your lip quiver and gave you a look. "Don't you start crying. You're stronger than that." He teased, and you stared at him. Didn't cry though.

"How you do that?" Doug laughed, lightly caressing your head.

"Told you she understands me." You frowned and tried to move out of the blanket that kept you warm. You wanted your father, but you knew you couldn't move.

Douglas noticed your frown. "TJ, is she pooping?"

"No, she grunts when she poops." He tilted his head so that you'd focus back on him, and began to whimper again. "Hey, what do you want, munchkin?"

"She probably just want to be out of the swaddle." Elaine concluded, beginning to unravel you. Once she had, you stretched and looked around for TJ.

"Could you bring her in the kitchen? I almost forgot she hasn't had her bottle yet."

"Of course." Douglas stayed behind to help TJ clean up. "You're a good dad, you know."

"I'm only doing my best." He chuckled. "I mean I know Y/N wasn't planned, but I really think she'll be the reason that I won't need any therapy or some shit. Now, I have to take care of me, so I can take care of her." Douglas smiled at his twin brother.

"I'm glad you're getting better." TJ heard you start to cry and he ran a hand through his hair. "I can feed her tonight if you're tired..I know she hasn't been letting you get much sleep."

"I don't know.."

"TJ, it's me. What's gonna happen to her?"

"Okay. You only heat up the bottle for thirteen seconds, or else it gets too hot. Don't let her suck on it to much when it's empty, that gives her gas, also don't-"

"TJ! Relax. I got her. Get some rest."

"Can you bring her in here when you're done?" TJ asked sheepishly. "Of course." Douglas turned the light off and closed the door.

Please let nothing happen to my child.

Oh, TJ.
