@jetblaack this ones for ya :))

Bucky's nightmares had gotten considerably worse over the past few weeks.

The last few drugs Banner had concocted failed miserably, most leading to the complete opposite of what they wanted, triggering him when he was silent for too long or during nightmares.

It was hell, and you'd already pulled muscles and sprained wrists and ankles just trying to get him to calm down, but most of the time your speed and strength were minimal compared to his.

This time, Banner had brought in something that was already made. Something that teenagers used all the time.

"It's called Molly It's kind of like getting him high but in controlled doses." You leaned back on the table behind you, and pondered the idea.

"What's the down side?" Steve questioned, crossing his arms as well. "Addiction, Depression if he ever misses a dose."

"Well, he can't stay on it forever, let's be realistic." You added. "This is only temporary, until we can find something that doesn't have life changing side effects, right?"

"Well, that might take awhile, so let's try this to see if it'll slow down if not stop the nightmares, and then we'll work from there."

You weren't fond of the idea. The thought of putting Bucky on drugs for an extended period of time did not sound appealing to you.

"I don't know guys. He's really fragile, and confused. Introducing him to all this new stuff might be a little bit of an overload, don't you think?" You noticed Steve nod in agreement in your peripheral vision.

"Look, why don't you, Steve and Tony, figure out the chemical structure first to make sure it won't mess with him physically, then we'll work on an agreement." Banner nodded and watched as you exited the room.

Upon walking into the living room, you noticed Bucky asleep on the couch while Natasha watched some show on the giant TV screen.

"He fell asleep after you left." You chuckled at the puppy-like soldiers behaviour. "Yeah, I figured he would. Hasn't been sleeping well."

"He's definitely in love with you."

You stopped in front of James and stared at Natasha. "Ha. Ha. Very funny."

"You're blind. It's official. How can you not see how hopelessly in love he is?" You kneeled down next to his head to run your fingers through his hair. "I'm sorry but, I don't."

You noticed how as soon as your hands made contact with his scalp, his face relaxed as well as his whole figure.

"Stop lying to yourself. It'll come out once that drug is in his system."

.

.

"So, what did we come up with?"

"I changed some of the formula in the compound to target the part of the brain that triggers the memories." Tony confirmed, shaking the powder turned liquid.

"Okay, drawbacks?"

"Hallucinations. The frontal temporal part of his brain is already aggravated, so adding the drug could-very low chance-cause minor hallucinations."

You let out a deep breath, pinching the bridge of you nose. "What's the percent?"

"Point zero nine, Mom." You rolled your eyes. "Shut up."
