BEWARE THIS IS NOT EDITED

The first time I saw her was like standing in the rain after being in the sun for too long. The first time I saw her it felt like the only thing i had left for was right there in front of me, like my new purpose was to love her. Not to reshape america. Not to kill my "best friend". But to discover her. Her every aspect, every move, every breath, every flaw. She was perfect. She made me feel okay.

But she was a stranger.

Not only that, but she knew. She knew that i craved her in ways that were unfamiliar to me. But she wouldn't admit that she wanted me, too.

"I'm not going to let you go on missions with us if you cant keep your eyes off of her for more than two sceonds."

i immediatley turned back to Steve, rolling my eyes as he chuckled. "You're obsessed."

"Am not." i spoke quietly, returning to my fighting stance. "there's just something about her, like she makes everything that i see in red, blue." Steve chuckled again, preparing himself also.

"So, you feel something for her?" I nodded, my attention drifting back to her as she sparred with Natasha. Steve's laugh filled my ears, and i heard his heavy footsteps as he sped walked towards me, ready to strike.

i grabbed his fist with my left arm just before his fist connected with me, and flipped him on to his back. "Really, Steve?"

"Worth a try."

"You're staring again."

"Okay, and? This is nothing new." Natasha chuckled, setting down her water. "Why don't you just talk to him?"

"The man is harder to read than an asguardian newspaper, what am I suppose to say?"

"I don't know, maybe start with 'hello'?" I rolled my eyes. "You can't keep staring at him though, N/N."

"Can, and will," I smiled, swinging my leg around to start off a new round.

"That was rude."

"Sucks. Fight me."
