"I wonder what Justin's gonna think about this." I flopped onto my couch.
"Justin?" John asked.
"N-nothing." I stuttered. Did I really say that out loud? Moreover, I was curious over why I even thought that.
"Oh yeah John, you can come with us tomorrow. Just lose the notebook, okay?" I sighed.
"What's wrong with drawing?" He looked confused, I sighed harder.
"There's nothing wrong with drawing... its the way you do it some days." I pointed to his hat. Taking his hat off, there was a small notebook under with a pen.
"Nobody draws on their head." I took away his notebook.
"I do." He ripped the notebook back from me.
"Whatever. Just please don't bring that tomorrow." I told him meekly.
"Aye aye sir." He raised his hand then trotted up the stairs.
"God, this'll be long." I turned the television on. I squirmed around a bit before pulling out my cell phone.
"Please answer...please answer." I head the phone to my face. It felt weird, I was calling a Pop and not by force either.
"Hello?" A masculine voice answered. I wasn't sure if it was Justin or not.
"H-hey Justin. It's Luze." I said.
"What's up?" He answered, it was plain. Still, I couldn't tell if it was him or not.
"If you're not busy, I mean you don't have to, but if you want to, can you give me a ride somewhere tomorrow?" I asked.
"Sure." He answered. "Hey, who's that?" I heard another male voice in the background. I listened in. "Some girl named Luze, maybe Justin's girlfriend?" I realized it was not Justin. "Who knows, I'll ask him." The voice got distant.
"W-Who's this?" I got nervous, who was I talking to?
"I'm Jeremy!" The voice was cheerful and higher pitched.
"Oh h-hi Jeremy." I wasn't sure if I should hang up or not.
"If you wanted Brax then he went to get Justin." Jeremy continued to talk.
"Okay. Thanks Jeremy." I said.
"Luze? Are you Justin's girlfriend?" He asked me, I froze.
"No way!" I laughed off. That was an unexpected question.
"Aw that's too bad. You sound like a pretty girl." Jeremy complimented.
"You have no idea how opposite I am of that then." I said, Jeremy was fun to talk to. He was like a little kid.
"Luze?" Justin asked over the phone.
"Hello?" I was too confused to figure out who I was talking to anymore.
"It's actually Justin this time. Hold on." I heard whining and a door slam. The springs of a bed moved then it returned to me.
"What's you need Luze Lu?" He asked.
"Tomorrow I was wondering could you give me a ride? I'm in sort of a situation right now." I laughed meekly.
"Sure, why not? What time?" Justin asked.
"Around five o' clock. Is that okay?" I asked.
"Roller rink." Justin said.
"Yeah." I replied back quickly, how did he know? Did I tell him?
"Okay, see you later then Luze." He hung up in the midst of me saying goodbye.
"That was too much work for no reason." I sighed. The television continued to run but I eventually went looking for John. I had to make sure the both of us were ready for tomorrow.
"John you ready?" I called up the stairs.
"My shoe is stuck." He whined, it surprised me how quickly the date changed.
"How is your shoe stuck?" I walked up to him.
"I got it," John stood up and kicked his shoe against the ground. "All good." He assured himself.
HONK! HONK! We could hear Justin's car.
"Let's go." I patiently waited on John.
"I'm coming!" He whined again. Some days I wondered how he was actually older than me.
"Hey Luze Lu!" Justin greeted me while staring down John.
"And Luze Lu junior?" He looked confused.
"This is my best friends boyfriend John. John this is Justin, the football player." I introduced the two.
"I forgot my jacket." Justin frantically looked around.
"Jacket?" I turned to him.
"Its got my stuff in it." Justin started to pull the car out.
"Stuff?" I asked, my questions were simple leaving me feeling slow.
"Y'know money? House keys." He grinned, I really did sound dumb.
"I'll be right back." Justin pulled into his house then ran inside. His house looked very tidy from the outside. It made me curious who Brax and Jeremy were.
"So is that your boyfriend or something?" John asked me.
"Not at all." I got frustrated over the question. "He's just some new kid I'm pretty sure I knew a while back." I couldn't completely remember.
"A while back?" John tried to figure it out.
"Around grade school time. Maybe third grade? Fourth grade?" I tried to recall. Justin oddly reminded me of this friend I had also named Justin. They look similar but the only thing leading me to doubt is their personalities.
"Maybe it was Justin... he always had a thing for football." I remembered.
"Ready to hit the road?" Justin came back into the car. He was wearing a black and white letterman jacket. I tried to examine him. Was he really that Justin from long ago now that I think about it?
