"Alright, I'll see you guys in about an hour." I waved goodbye and I began walking the opposite way of my friends.

This was going to be an adventure, it felt like I was starting another war. Maybe Ginger would fight back like she did our freashman year and get shoes again. I giggled to myself thinking about it, we wore our t-shirts and she wore her labeled shoes. It was like a victory until the fun of wearing the shirts as a group died down.

"Luze? Where are you heading?" I heard Justin's voice.

"To my uncle's shop to get some t-shirts." I said and he stopped his car.

"I'll give you a ride, tell me more?" It sounded like he was asking.

"Um... okay, sure." I couldn't refuse since he already stopped his car for me.

"What kind of t-shirts are they?" Justin asked, I looked down at my thumbs.

"I don't think you'll like them very much." I answered back.

"If its some nerdy stuff I wouldn't care, if its what you like that's cool." He said.

"It's not called nerdy stuff." The words agitated me a bit more when he said it than when someone else would.

"Oh, my bad. Left or right?" We came to a stop sign.

"Go right, and keep going straight and you'll be able to see the shop.

"Got it." He turned right and continued driving.

"I wonder if its a good idea." I sighed staring out of the window.

"What's a good idea?" Justin asked.

"About the t-shirts. I did something like this in my freshman year , it ended with no point." I told him.

"I don't think anything you do is really pointless." Justin answered, he stopped at the red light, my uncle's shop was in sight.

"Then forgive me before hand." I quicky kissed his cheek and the light turned green.

"If you do that there's no way I couldn't forgive you for anything." I noticed his face turned a bit red.

"Then I'll take your word for it." He took a parking spot and I ran quickly to the door of the shop. It was always fun going to my uncle's shop, though I didn't visit that often.

"Uncle Ben?" I opened the door and looked around the shop. It was surprisingly not as busy as I thought it was.

"Got your t-shirts right here kid." My uncle stepped out from the back and I immediately hugged him.

"Woah, you've grown. Haven't seen you since the last time you worked at my shop, when you were a sophmore I believe?" He grinned looking down at me.

"Yeah, I don't think I've grown that much though." I said.

"Probably, but it's been two years at least. What's with the t-shirts, starting up another war?" He chuckled, when I first made the t-shirts it was his idea. That's when we started the shop instead of having an online-only business.

"I guess you could say that," I took a t-shirt into my hand. "Oh god, it's so awesome. Thanks!"  I jumped right back into my uncle's arms.

"Anything for you Lu. Say, how's Anna been doing? Still been drinking too much?" He asked.

"Mom's been okay lately I guess. Instead of losing her mind, she passes out straight away. No sign of illness." I said, Uncle Ben went to the back of the shop and came back.

"They were always your favorite and Anna's. Take them, I got them just for you." It was a bag of Uncle Ben's special waffle pastries.

"Thanks so much! I promise during the breaks I'll come help out again." I gave him one last hug before grabbing the box of t-shirts.

"Be sure to bring some more funny stories about your school wars when you do." He watched me leave.

"Okay, see ya." I walked out the door, Justin opened the car door for me and I hopped in, the box in my lap. The bag of pastries in the box.

"You never hug me like you did him." Justin pulled out of his parking spot and started driving.

"That's cause he's my uncle. I hug him all the time." I said.

"I'd say I wish I was your uncle, but if I was I couldn't date you." Justin chuckled.

"That sounds kinda creepy," I giggled at him. "But that is a good point." I said.

"I'm not creepy." Justin said and the ride home consisted of the strangest conversation we could have about if we were related instead of friends.

"Here, I got you." He stopped his car the street behind mine and got out the car to open the door for me.

"Thanks." I got out the car, took my back pack on and put it on.

"What's this?" He looked at the paper bag taking the box out the car for me.

"It's a family recipe of waffle pastries. Here, I'll give you one as payment for giving me a ride" I took one out of the bag for Justin.

"Thanks but," He kissed my lips once more. "I'll take that as payment for giving you a ride." He laughed at my face.

"Can you stop doing that without warning me?!" I covered my face with my hands.

"Consider it payback for kissing me back in the car." He stuck out his tongue.

"Whatever." I chuckled and took the box from him.

"See you later." He got back in the car and started it back up.

"See ya." I smiled then sped-walked to my house which wasn't too far from where I stood.
