"Go for it Luze." Emily shoved my shoulders when we arrived at school.
"Got it." I felt determined.
"Go for what?" Summer asked.
"Troubles. You'll see one heck of a result." John said.
"Luze, can I borrow your locker? I don't wanna wear this hoodie anymore and it's too hot to wrap it around." Emily asked before we walked in the English classroom.
"Sure thing." I walked over to my locker, hesitant to open it. Then I entered in the numbers without a care, if I got another note it wouldn't bite at me.
"Okay. Ready to go." Emily hung her hoodie up and we walked to English. When I went to sit a cheerleader stopped me.
"Um, what do you think you're doing?" She stopped me putting her hand on the seat.
"About to sit?" I answered.
"Yeah no. Losers sit in the back, we have a guest you can't be the first thing he see's." She shooed me.
"Excuse-" I stopped Emily's retort and guided her to the back."Luze?" She questioned my action.
"It's my Uncle Ben coming in." I giggled. "He's teaching us the fundamentals of his company." Emily giggled along. My uncle was a lady-killer, but there was no way I'd pretty up just for him to see me.
"Welcome to the back." Justin tapped my shoulder with a pen and I smiled.
"What are you doing? Come up to the front with me Justin- honey." Ginger yanked at his arm moving someone to his seat so he could sit by her.
"I swear my sister's something." Hunter face palmed with a sigh.
"What's this? Luze, what'cha doing in this classroom?" Uncle Ben walked into the room. For the fist time in a while, he actually looked a normal 25 year old.
"I already told you English was my first class." I said and he called me up.
"Really? Teacher, you wouldn't mind if I used her right?" He took out a magic marker.
"Not at all. I'm actually surprised you two are related." My teacher looked at us, we could be confused as siblings versus my mother and him.
"This is my uncle. I help him out." I explained briefly.
"Oh really?" She looked interested. "Then, please do help out. Show us how it works too Luze." She smiled and I smiled back.
My uncle told me to bring out the t-shirt blue prints so he can show the t-shirt designing basics.
"You guys sure catch on fast for some seniors. Why don't we make these shirts?" My uncle colored the shirt.
"They look pretty nice. I don't disagree." I told him and gave him a count.
"Well then I'm counting on your help afterschool." He said.
"No problem." I took the blueprints, folded them, and put them into his bag.
"So like we get to wear these?" A kid raised his hand then Ginger spoke out.
"Isn't it pricey to make these?" She asked.
"Yeah its pricey. But you also get paid the t-shirts worth when you make them." He answered grabbing his bag and the bell rang.
"Well, thank you for that presentation." The teacher let the other kids leave.
"No problem. Count on Luze to bring the shirts tomorrow, okay. Off to the next class!" He left out for the junior's English class.
"Tomorrow? They'll be done that fast?" She looked shocked.
"Yeah. It's not hard when you get used to it. Okay bye." I left the classroom for my next class.
"That was pretty cool Luze. Didn't know you knew a skill like that." Justin walked up to me in the hallway, my friends and his were no one to be seen.
"Thanks." I chuckled. "Never judge a book by its cover." I said then stopped. I thought about my words.
"Luze? What's wrong?" He turned back on me.
"...I'm sorry." I said. I said never judge a book by its cover but that was exactly what I did to Justin. To snap without his word for, ignore him, then talk as if we could be close.
"Hmm? Sorry for what?" He asked. Then he walked towards me and rushed me to a room before the bell rang moments later.
"B-because. Wow. Who do I think I am? I took your kindness, thrown it away, then come back for more. What's wrong with me?" I held my head in my hands.
"There's nothing wrong with you, it was my fault?" He held me in his arms.
"What are you talking about? How was it your fault?" I asked.
"I was being someone I'm not, I knew you heard, I hurt you. I was two-faced and a liar, and I'm sorry." He squeezed onto me tightly, and I hugged back.
It took a while before I could get words to come out without crying, and I refused to cry. When I could finally get my side out. Justin too. I was glad too... seems like we weren't so different after all.
