"Huh?" I looked up at the unfamiliar ceiling, and the unfamiliar area. I looked at the area I was in, I noticed Justin lying on the floor with a pillow and the rest of the blanket covering me covered him.

"Oh, you awake?" I heard a gentle voice.

"Yeah." It was surprisingly Jeremy.

"Your mom says take this weird medicine. Hope ya don't mind we looked for her number." Jeremy handed me a cap filled with liquid.

"I don't mind at all. Thanks for letting me in." I smiled before drinking the medicine. It was bitter, then sour, it was gooey and warm. It was actually very disgusting and I realized I was lucky just to have to take a cap full.

"No problem," Jeremy crouched by the couch, closing the large distance between us. "So, your last name is Amberyte?" He asked with a curious face.

"Yup." I answered, the taste of the medicine still haunted my taste buds.

"And its spelled L-U-Z-E not L-U-C-Y?" He asked.

"Yeah, its a weird name." I nodded along with his questions.

"It's not weird, you're cute. Um ah, I mean it's cute." Jeremy stuttered and laughed over his mistake.

"Thanks." I giggled. I felt a hand softly touch mines.

"You feeling better?" Justin asked still laying on the floor.

"Yeah. Thanks." I smiled at him. He stood up quickly and stretched.

"What time is it?" He asked.

"Around six? Why?" Jeremy popped up from behind the couch.

"Good its still early. Luze, want me to take you home?" He asked tossing the pillow to a neighboring couch.

"Okay, thanks." I stood up,  Jeremy grabbed the blanket and began running around foolishly. I giggled at the sight and Justin grabbed his car keys.

"Tell Brax I'll be back soon." Justin walked towards the door, I followed.

"Okay. Bye bye Luze." Jeremy waved to me.

"Bye Jeremy." I waved back and walked out of the door into the car.

"Thanks for taking me home." I buckled my seat belt, Justin chuckled.

"You don't have to thank me for everything y'know?" He laughed a bit.

"O-oh. Sorry." My eyes looked down.

"Don't be sorry, it's cute." He smiled at me before preparing to drive. The drive was short and quiet. Before I realized it we were already at my house, him waiting for me to go inside. I turned around and gave one last wave to him before entering my house.

"Oh my god! Luze!!!" Emily pounced on me. I couldn't hold my balance and fell back on the door.

"What Emily, what?" I asked, I grinned at her enthusiasm.

"Where have you been? Was it with him? Hmm?? Hmm?!" She jumped up placing her hands on her hips.

"Yeah, I just got sick a little. I'm alright now though." I answered question.

"Oh my god. Are you okay?" She slapped her hand against my forehead before running around the place.

"Yeah I'm fine." I grabbed my back pack and started for my room.

"Wait Luze! Wait!" Emily cried out.

"What?" I turned around a bit panicked by her voice.

"I lost John. We've been playing hide n seek and I can't find him!" She bounced about, searching for her 'lost' boyfriend.

"He's right there." I pointed, he blended with the kitchen ware and sat under the sink. It had been wide open, so it was strange how she hadn't found him.

"He is!" Emily looked amazed as John got up from his hiding spot.

"Wow Luze. You could've kept it a secret for a while longer." He laughed at my sharp eye.

"Probably." I smiled before walking into my room. I grabbed out my notebook and began and entry.

"How could I have gotten sick the day a great friend goes to high school for the first time??? It was weird since I was feeling fine when I woke up. Either way I was lucky to have Justin by my side, I'd probably still be feeling horrible without him. I'm sure he's someone I can rely on, I just have to be dependable too!"

I continued to write the rest of my thoughts determined. After finishing my journal, I tossed it back in place and flopped onto my bed. I wrapped in my blanket, holding a pillow close to me.

"Not nearly as warm." I sighed and tried to warm up. It wasn't before long that I changed into my nightwear and was summoned by Emily to play her game of hide n seek. It wasn't my ideal end of the night, but it was really fun. I'm glad to have enjoyable people like her and John by my side to keep my brain from overflowing with crazy thoughts.
