"Luze we helped ourselves to some drinks, is that alright?" Hunter said upon me coming into the house.
"Yeah, that's fine." I said. I walked into the living room and set the box of shirts down.
"Awesome! Mines the blue one." Emily rushed up to the box and picked the blue lettered shirt out.
"Mines is pink." Summer walked over.
"You guys must've been impatient waiting for these shirts." I giggled taking the rest of the shirts out.
"The orange ones mine right?" Jeremy popped up behind me.
"Yup, here." I said and handed him the t-shirt.
"Thanks." He hugged me from behind and everyone eventually joined in the hug.
"It's nothing," I giggled. "But is this really the best idea?" I thought it over again. I didn't want to regret it, after spending time with Justin, but I was sure it wouldn't hurt.
"What are you talking about?" John asked. "This is better than best." He grabbed his green lettered shirt.
"Wish I could find a word for that." Hunter chuckled then took his purple shirt. "I gotta get going Luze, see you tomorrow." He walked towards the door.
"Oh. I'm coming too. See you tomorrow Luze." Summer followed after Hunter.
"See you guys. Oh yeah, Jeremy how are you getting home?" I asked.
"I'm gonna walk. I should get going before its dark then, huh?" Jeremy took his t-shirt in his hand and walked towards the door to put on his shoes.
"Then I'll see you tomorrow." I smiled at him.
"Y'know what's funny, how your dating some guy and going straight up against him." Emily giggled with sarcasm.
"And how the poor boy has no clue what's to happen." John instigated.
"You guys get on my nerves." I laughed at them.
I wasn't sure if this still was the best idea I could've had but there was no backing down from it. It was my decision to order the t-shirts in the first place too.
"Well? How do I look?" Emily woke me up the next morning.
"You look good." I yawned rubbing my eyes.
"Great. I got you an outfit too." She brought out a few hangers.
"Really? Can't ever rest around your skills, huh?" I said, she laughed at me.
"Nope. Put it on." She rushed me before rushing out of the room.
The outfit didn't look bad, the red letters on my shirt matched my red shoes.
"Hurry up! We're definitely taking a picture of this!" Emily called from another part of the house.
"Alright! I'm coming." I yelled back down to her. I quickly took my jacket and rushed down the stairs.
"Do you like it? See, we match." Emily pulled John close, they did match except he had on fashion glasses.
"You guys look cute." Emily grabbed on my arm and pulled me in the middle of them.
"Smile." She hoisted her phone to the highest her arm could go. We smiled and she hurriedly clicked a photo.
"Never did I ever imagine we'd be taking a reject selfie." I said and Emily laughed.
"You guys ready to go?" John started to tie his shoes.
"Hold on," I walked into the kitchen and took a waffle pastry from the bag. "Alright, I'm ready." I walked over and we began walking to school.
"What's that?" John asked as I munched on the pastry.
"Something really good." I continued to chew.
"Fair enough." He said and Emily began talking with him. It was early October, I'd have to wait a little while before a school break to work at my uncle's shop.
"Hey Luze, what are you thinking about?" Summer walked up to me.
"Oh hey, nothing much really." I said.
"You haven't been writing much either, something going on?" She asked.
"No, I just think I'm gonna postpone the writing for a while." I replied.
"What?! Are you serious!?" She exclaimed. It shocked everyone who was walking.
"It's not that big a deal, right?" I was shocked at her reaction.
"Of course its a big deal! You- the kid who couldn't stop writing even when we asked her to, is stopping?" She continued to burst as Hunter walked up to calm her.
"It's not like I'm stopping. I'm just delaying the posts that all, getting my drafts together." I lied, it was near the truth but somewhat not completely true.
"Oh, oops. But still... you had me worried. If you'd stop writing who knows what the world has come to." She giggled.
"Wow really?" The words weren't so relaxing. By the time we got to school, Jeremy was fidgeting all about waiting for our arrival.
"Took you guys long enough!" He complained clinging onto me for a hug.
"My bad, did you get a ride here?" I chuckled while hugging him back.
"Yeah. Justin insisted that he drive me, I couldn't refuse. He's so cool some days." Jeremy let go unzipping his hoodie to show off his clothes.
"Ha. If he's so cool, why would you hang with these losers." Ginger walked past us with Mark by her side.
"We're still welcoming if you want kid." Mark smiled at Jeremy then glared at me before walking off with Ginger.
"Looks like they really have eyes for you." Summer joked.
"Yeah but I don't like them. They are really really mean." Jeremy huddled by me and we began walking in.
"But you know Jeremy, Pops can't help it." Hunter said before we had to split up to go to our classes.
"I have some stuff to put in my locker, I'll see you guys in class." I said and walked towards my locker. Lucky for me, it wasn't too far from our English class.
I hummed putting in the numbers 30-19-22, and upon opening my locker a note fell out. There were three notes in total as I looked further into my locker.
