Chapter Fifteen / Sydney

- Two days later -

Have you ever heard that the camera adds ten pounds? Well, looking back on the interview, I can totally see that.

Whata shame.

Audrey sure does look bigger. I hope she doesn't gain ten pounds because it'll look like fourty.

Me on the other hand, it looks like the camera did wonders for me. I look the same, except for this glow I have about me. Maybe it's just because I'm blushing.

"So, are you and Harry in a relationship or no?"

I watched as Harry and I gave each other a look. We sure can fake it.

"Yes,"

I watched as Niall shot his head up from the corner of the screen.

"And no."

Harry had a smile on his face. A smirk was held on mine.

"If you think about it, we do couples stuff but its simply no more than a friendship! Best friends to be exact!"

I smiled, success very apparent in my features.

"But, if any guy tries to do something to my best friend here, then yes I'm her boyfriend!" Harry smirked looking at me. Cheeky bastard. The crowd laughed and cooed.

"Nice to know, fake boyfriend!" I smirked.

"Well there you have it! One relationship and one friendship with what you could benefits!" The interviewer winked at Harry and I. The lady closed off the show and we all went back stage after that. I remember how Audrey had a angry face on the whole time and Niall just kept quiet. Serves him right.

My phone rang beside me, making me jump up off the couch. I switched the TV off and answered it, not bothering to look at the caller ID.

"Chello?!"

"Sydney?" It was him. It was Niall. He sounded kinda sad in a way but almost like he was hiding it.

"Um," I cleared my throat a little then spoke up. "Y-yeah?" I haven't spoken to him in like three or four days. It felt like an eternity in all honesty.

"What are you doing?"

"Nothing really," I sat back down on the couch and played with the strings on the bottom of my shorts.

"Could you possibly meet me at Spring Park?" Niall had to clear his throat a little.

"I don't know Niall," He sounded upset and I figured it wasn't my place to fix him. His girlfriend should. And that clearly isn't me; and won't be, ever.

"Sydney," I hear him sigh. "I really need you," He whispered into the phone. What was he doing? It's like he was trying to draw me back in. I remember when we would always call each other up and meet at some place when Clara or Jim were being dick wads.

"Ni, are you okay?" I whispered back, for no reason. I was the only one in the apartment, Drew had a date and he said he wouldn't be back til later.

"Just meet me at the Park." Niall pipped up and hung up on me. Okay, now I really know something's up.

I slipped my phone in my pocket and grabbed my house keys off the glass coffee table. I slipped on some flip flops and put a jacket on. I was in no way ready to go anywhere. Denim shorts that have some tears in them and a tight tank top was not public appropriate but it doesn't stop most girls from going out. Oh well, this'll have to do. I locked the door behind me and walked down the small stairs. I didn't need to take my car because the park was down the road and I kinda needed the exercise. I've been a lazy arse these last couple of days. The sun had gone down about an hour ago and the wind held a cooling temp. My long brown hair flew behind me.
