Chapter Twenty Two / Sydney

Biting into my warm, soft pretzel, I look over at Niall who is sipping on Coca Cola. I stifle a laugh as he begins to smirk. We both have on handcuffs that are tightly clamped on our wrists. Sitting in metal fold-out chairs at a large metal table, waiting for security to come back.

"Well that was fun." He chuckled. I nodded, finishing up my pretzel and setting the wrapper down on the table. I wipe my salty hands on my pants and sigh.

"It wasn't even that bad." I slouch in my chair and try to fold my arms but stop when I remember the cuffs. Niall lets out little laughs every now and then, probably rethinking the previous actions we had done.

The large, black door in front of us swings open and a man in a suit with a file strides in. He unbuttons one of his notches on his suit jacket before sitting and giving Niall and I a good look. He shakes his head slowly and opens the file. He flips through a few papers and folds his hands over the file.

"You," He spoke. I looked up from the file and saw his eyes set on me. I nodded in response. "Tell me why you're locked up." He spoke firmly. I sighed and clicked my tongue.

"Well.."

-Two hours before-

"Why aren't you working?" I asked, looking at Niall. I turned the volume knob on the radio down and stopped at a red light.

"We finished up some recording yesterday, we are now officially on vacation.." He replied with a smile. I nodded and turned into the mall car park, finding a place and parking. I had almost forgotten about Niall leaving or about that he wanted me to go too. I grabbed my purse from the floor board and threw my keys into the outside pocket. Niall and I walked up to the large building, him pulling up the hood of the jacket he's wearing and slipping on a pair of my black sunglasses. Luckily, Drew left his jacket in the car or else we wouldn't be able to go to such a public place without Niall getting noticed. It's still so weird thinking that my best friend is a celebrity. How all these girls rush to him and cry over him, when all I see when I look at him is the big goofy grin he's worn since we were knee height. We walked through the sliding doors and looked at all our options.

"There!" I pointed towards the Victorias Secret store down the long path and we took off for it. As we walked in, women gave Niall and I strange looks. Most the women in there were older ladies, probably getting lingerie to spice up their sex lives. I just hope one day when I'm old and grey, my husband will still find me attractive and be able to get me out of pajamas. Wearing pajamas all day was just my thing. It's my calling. And if I even have a husband. I'll probably end up with twenty cats. Hm.. Sounds like the life.

"Syd," Niall nudged me and cocked his head to the side. "Oh yeah," I hurried to the back of the store and started to look through the bras and panties. "I'm gonna split. I'll be on the other side finding you stuff." I nodded and he paced to the other side, now out of my sight. The store was pretty big so I'm sure we won't bump into each other til later. I picked through the bras and panties, choosing ones of my liking. I stopped though when a loud voice echoed through the store, overpowering the loud music playing.

"Sydney!" It was Niall. Oh god. I'm just glad these people don't know me, or my name, so I kept digging through the racks, not replying to Niall. "I know you hear me!" He shouted. I giggled and shook my head, continuing my search for clothes and what not. "What size bra do you wear?" I gasped and chunked the shirt I was holding back on the rack and quickly stomped over to the other side. Niall smirked at me as I made my way to him.

"Will you shut up!? Dip fuck." I mumbled, not daring to make eye contact with anybody looking our way, now knowing I was the Sydney he was yelling to. I stared fumbling through the large container of bras, finding my size.
