You pet Talli as you wait for your husband Jordan to finish recording the Treetopia Christmas special at the Creature House. Talli purrs as you stroke her black and white fur. You smile at her.
Talli nudges your mouth with her nose. Whenever she does that, that means she wants you to sing for you. You grin slightly and turn on the radiio to the Christmas station. The first song that comes in is Let It Snow.
"Oh the weather outside is frightful. But the fire is so delightful. And since we've no place to go. Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!" You sing the whole song while Talli wags her tail and purrs.
As soon as your mouth closes into a smile after you finish the song, the door creek opens. At first, you think its Bailey trying to get out, but instead you hear a voice.
"(Y/N)? Babe?" It's Kootra. You smile and jump up off the couch, Talli leaping off after you. You rush to the door and wrap your arms around Kootra's neck.
Jordan smile and wraps his arms around your waist. He leans down and softly kisses you. He pulls back and makes the dumbest face ever, to which you laugh at.
"You're back!" You cheer.
"Of course!" He smiles. He hands you a present in the shape of a cresent or half circle. You look at him in confusion. "I got you something."
"It's not yet Christmas," You say.
"I know, but I couldn't wait. Open it, please," He begs. You nod and sit on the couch, Jordan sitting next to you. You open the present and inside is the same bow he had gotten to showcase after Catching Fire came out.
You look at him in shock. You've been wanting this bow since you saw the movie. Jordan smiles at you.
"You like it?" He asks.
"I love it!" You squeal, hugging him tightly. Jordan smiles and hugs you back, kissing the top of your head.
"I love you," He whispers. "And Merry early Christmas."
"I love you too," You smile. "Merry early Christmas to you, too, Koots."
