I walk along the snow covered sidewalk. Once again, I'm spending Christmas alone. I mean, it's not like anyone cares for me, anyway.
I shiver in the cold, snow falling into my black hair. My nearly black eyes look around at the beautiful snow covered trees.
I look back at the ground. I hear cars zoom past, and other footsteps. I don't care, anyway. Until I bump into someone.
I ram into someone and fall onto my butt. I look up at who I ran into and see a guy with black hair, blakc facial hair, and dark eyes.
"Hey, watch it!" He growls. I roll my eyes and get up. He stands up too. "Im sorry, I didn't mean it. What's your name?"
"Annie," I reply softly, weary of this stranger. "How about you?"
"I'm James," He smiles. His smile turns into a frown once he sees the sad look on my face "Hey....What's wrong?"
"It's Christmas and I'm spending it alone," I say. Why am I tell him this? He's a complete stranger!
James thinks for a minute. Then he smiles. "Well, I'm spending it with just my dog and cat. My friends are all visitng family and stuff. Wanna come over? We can spend Chrismas together."
I think for a moment. For all I know, this guy could be a rapist. But....He doesn't seem like the type.
"Sure," I smile. "Lead the way."
James smiles and takes me to his house. He helps me take my coat off and hangs it up. I smile at him, still having my guard up.
I soon relax as I noticed the xbox. "What games do you play?" I ask him, pointing to the console.
"A lot, actually. You wanna play?" He asks. I nod and we set up a game of CoD.
At least I don't have to spend Christmas alone anymore.
