I let out a breath, shivering in the cold. Smarty wrapped his arm around me, pulling me into his side.
"Almost there," He mumbled, guiding me. He walked up the steps to the Star Bucks, opening the door for me. As I walked in, him following, I was greeted with the warmth of the place.
We ordered our coffees and took a seat at a table, quietly sipping our drinks. Occasionally, I’d look out the window at the falling flakes of snow.
"What do you want for Christmas?" Smarty asked me. I turned my head to look at him, tilting my head slightly to the side.
"You." I smiled. Smarty smiled and blushed slightly. I smiled in response and resumed looking out the window.
"No, really, what do you want?" He asked. We were best friends and always got things for each other around the holidays. I had already gotten him a new set of headphones and microphone for Youtube.
"I’m serious, all I want for Christmas is you." I replied. My cheeks burned red as I basically confessed my feelings for him.
"Hm." was his only response.

I woke up Christmas morning to a ruckus. I got up and walked down the steps, wondering if maybe my beagle, Hector, had gotten into something. However, what I found was not my dog, but my best friend.
Smarty had a pretty red bow on the top of his head. He looked ridiculous, but also very adorable.
"What’s this?" I asked, stifling a giggle.
"Merry Christmas, will you be mine?" He asked, holding out his arms. I moved into them, burying my face in his neck. I felt a pressure on my head as he kissed the top of my head.
"Of course." I replied, smiling. I got my Christmas wish.
