I leaned against Smarty, starting to doze off. He wrapped his arm around me and held me tight. He kissed the top of my head before playing with a few strands of my blue hair.
"Smarty?" I mumbled softly.
"Hm?" He replied.
"I love you." I muttered, snuggling deeper into him.
"I love you, too." He replied. I fell asleep just after that.

I woke up the next morning, Christmas morning. I got up, noticing that Smarty was gone. I walked downstairs to find him sitting with a cage in his lap. The cage had a red bow on it.
"Merry Christmas." He smiled. I walked over and knelt next to him. I peered in the cage to see a cute little hedgehog.
"You got me one?!" I nearly squealed. I hugged him tightly. He hugged back, then removed the hedgehog from his lap.
I kissed him happily, then drew back. I was so excited to play with my new pet.
I removed the hedgehog from his cage gently. I played with him and cuddled him. Then, I put him back to cuddle up to my amazing boyfriend.
