Christmas in England was beautiful. The snow fell beautifully to the ground, covering the streets and homes in a thick, white blanket. The lights and sounds were even more gorgeous. But the most wonderful thing was getting to spend the holidays with Dex.
I sat down inside my warm flat, sipping hot chocolate. I was waiting for my lovely boyfriend to come home. He had said that he had some Christmas shopping to do.
I heard keys jingle and the door knob shake. A moment later, Dexter walked through the door. He had his hands full with bags, which made me giggle. Dex wasn’t one to shop much.
"What, did you buy out the entire mall?" I joked as I helped him with the bags.
"Ha ha, very funny, (Y/N)." He muttered, pecking my cheek. "Take these to my room, will you?"
"Oh, sure, make me do everything." I joked. I grabbed a few of the bags and heaved them upstairs to his room. Damn, what was in these, bricks?
"I take it you DID buy out the entire mall?" I questioned as I flopped down on his bed. I snuggled into the sheets that seemed to carry his scent.
"Shush up, you." He chuckled, laying down next to me. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me to his chest.
"Eeek!" I screeched, moving away. I fell off the bad, landing with a small thud. "You’re freezing!"
"No duh, baby cakes. I was outside where it’s below freezing." He retorted with an eye roll. "Come warm me up."
I crawled back into bed with him, snuggling into him. I leaned up and carefully pressed my lips to his.
Let’s just say we had other plans on how to keep warm.
