I let out a sigh, wrapping the plush blanket further around me. It was freezing cold in the middle of winter and my heater was broken. Jordan, my boyfriend, was trying to fix it.
I had fallen asleep, shivering in the cold. I had a nightmare about Jordan and I freezing to death in the middle of a blizzard. I jolted awake with a start.
"Babe, I fixed the heater!" Jodan called. Upon waking up, I did feel much warmer than I had before. I smiled to myself and got up, finding my boyfriend.
"Thank God." I mumured, wrapping m arms around him. He wrapped his arms around me, hugging me closely. I smiled as I nuzzled my face in his chest.
"Hey, wait." Jordan said as he held me at arms length. He got down on one knee and pulled out a little black velvet box. He popped the top and I could see a beautiful diamond ring. "(Y/N), I've loved you for a very, very long time. I was hoping that you'd make my Christmas wish come true and agree to marrying me. What do you say?"
"Yes." I agreed, nodding my head. Jordan slipped the ring onto my finger and held me close. I wrapped my arms around his neck and snuggled into him, crying tears of joy.
Jordan pulled back again, but held me closer, still. He pressed his lips to mine in a sweet, loving kiss. I kissed back, pulling him closer to me.
Jordan pulled back and stroked my cheek. I smiled and kissed his fingers, making him chuckle softly.
"I love you so much." He told me, kissing my forehead.
"I love you, too, Kootra." I replied, smiling wide.
"Merry Christmas." He said, placing his red hat on my head. I smiled and pecked his lips.
"Merry Christmas."
