"Cat, look!" Aleks said, rushing downstairs from recording in his room. He points to the window and I get up, placing my laptop and mug of hot chocolate down. I brush my blue hair with black streaks out of my face and walk over to my boyfriend.
"What is it, Aleks?" I ask, leaning against his side. I look out the window and see pretty white flakes falling down from the sky. I've never seen this before.
"It's snowing!" Aleks grins, and runs to the coat rack. He pulls on his coat, boots, snow-pants, hat, scarf, and gloves. I borrow Sly's, which are just a tad big on my average frame, and run out after him. Aleks shows me how to make a snow angel and I follow, making a pretty one.
"That's great, babe!" Aleks says. I giggle and form a snowball in my hands, like he showed me, and threw it at him. He throws one at me and I go to run to dodge it. Instead, I fall.
I let out a cry of pain as I look at my ankle. It's twisted. Aleks runs to my side and helps me stand up.
"Are you alright Cat?" He asks, helping me up. I nod, though tears are slightly falling from my brown eyes. Aleks helps me inside and sets me on the couch. He gets me ice for my twisted ankle. "I'll be right back," He says.
I wait patiently for him. I think of the freezing cold, pretty white snow outside and start to giggle. I'll laugh at almost anything. Aleks comes down holding a box wrapped in red and white striped paper.
"I got you a present," He smiles. I smile back and take the box. I tear the beautifully wrapped paper off of the box and notice that it's a video game I wanted.
"Thanks Aleks!" I grin and hug him. He hugs me back tightly and kisses the top of my head.
This is a good Winter day.
