An angry scream left my lips as I tugged against the vervain ropes. My skin was on fire, and I hated feeling so vulnerable.

"Let me go!" I yelled, feeling my face slowly transform into a vampire.

"You act so strong." The young witch chuckled. "I see why Klaus likes you."

"Who are you?" I demanded, still managing to give up a struggle against my confines.

"My name is Davina." She answered, lifting up a small piece of wood and examining it. "Klaus has been an enemy of mine for a long time now. He's lied to me, hurt me, killed people that I cared about. Yet, he never feels remorseful for anything. I know the only way to get revenge is to attack the people he cares about the most. At first, I thought about his child, but Hope would be heavily protected by Hayley and her werewolves. Then I discovered you. I've heard Marcel mention you've been hanging around with the Mikaelsons once or twice. I decided to go check it out myself. When I saw you with Klaus, well, I knew I had a chance to enact my revenge."

"Klaus will never come for me. You're a fool if you think so. He doesn't care about anything but himself and that baby."

"You're so naive. Can't you see the way that he looks at you?"

"Stop creating fantasies in your head, witch. I've met your people before, and you're no better than Klaus! You lie and manipulate just as easily."

"I am not lying, nor have I manipulated you in any way. I am simply trying to teach Klaus a lesson. If he messes with me, he will be punished."

"You mean I will be punished." I growled.

"Enough!" Davina hissed through clenched teeth. "I think it's time that we convey our little message to Klaus."

She went over towards her desk, taking a small phone into her hands and dialing a number. As she held the phone to her ear, I used my vampire hearing to narrow in on the voice that answered.

"Davina. Is everything okay?" Marcel asked.

"Are you with Klaus?"

"Yeah. The girl he's been spending his time with has gone missing. Elijah and I are about to go out to find her."

"No need." Davina chuckled. "She's here with me."

"D? What have you done?" Marcel asked worriedly.

"Put Klaus on the phone. I'd like to give him a message."

There was a silent pause before a familiar voice was heard.

"Davina, where is she!"

"I have her hidden, tied to a chair and restless from the vervain." Davina slowly walked towards me twirling the little piece of wood in her hands. "She's safe for now, unless you don't agree to my terms."

"I will never do such a thing! Let her go now!"

"Oh how I wished you would say that. It makes what I'm about to do so much easier."

Davina suddenly stabbed the piece of wood right through the middle of my hand. I screamed out in pain, my voice echoing off the walls of the tomb. My head fell back as I closed my eyes and tried to fight the stinging that was coming from my skin.

"Do you hear that, Klaus? The longer you stall, the worse her torture will become."

"Davina!" Klaus roared from the phone. "What did you do to her?!"

"You'll never know unless you agree to my terms, Klaus!"

"Davina, I swear you're making a huge mistake-" Marcel yelled in the background as the line went dead.
