Tyler has had a bad day, filled with horrible luck. Joshua the tickle monster comes to the rescue.

kinda edited, kinda not.

this includes mentions of God along with a slight mention or two of religious views. read as you please,

and enjoy!

Today was a shitty day for Tyler. It was just a day full of bad luck. It all started this morning coming home from the grocery store. His direct motive was to set the bags on the kitchen counter and put everything away neatly, not have them fall on the floor, break the pickle jar, and crack all twelve eggs inside the carton.

Later that day, he was washing his hands after he was done doing his business. And what do you know! His wedding band fell down the drain. (He later had to call a plumber to come get it out of the drain before Joshua came home. Not that he was going to mention the situation anyways).

At that point, he was seriously convinced that God was not on his side today. To the point of questioning if he walked under a ladder recently, or spilt some salt. Who knows? Cause he sure as hell doesn't.

And if you didn't think it could get any worse,

The six-page essay Tyler had spent hours and hours on disappeared from his laptop. Oh, and their cat ran away too.

Tyler felt like he could scream. So he did just that. He screamed and yelled and threw pillows on couches and punched cushions and had a full on mental breakdown. He didn't care if anyone heard him, he didn't care if anyone was knocking on the door, he didn't care about Joshua standing right behind him, mouth slack at the state his husband was in.

Poor Tyler sat on the floor, tears streaming down his face, cursing whatever god was above, asking, praying "why, why me!"

Joshua immediately ran over, "gosh, Ty, what happened?" He said, bringing the boy to the disoriented couch. Tyler frowned and stuck his face against Joshua's chest, explaining every little horrible thing that happened to him while Joshua was gone at work.

Joshua frowned as well, his spinning mind slowed as an idea sparked. "Let's watch a funny movie, yeah? Get your mind off of things." Tyler nodded, lifting himself from Joshua's lap and scooting himself against the other side of the couch, his body and legs laying lengthwise while he waited for Joshua to return.

"Alrighty, Babe! I got Clueless and Legally Blonde, which one are we watchin' first?" Tyler let out a unnoticeable giggle at Joshua's movie choices. His voice small as he answered, "Clueless, please."

Joshua smiled and nodded, placing the DVD in the correct slot before pressing play. Joshua sits down on the opposite side of the couch, by Tyler's feet. The younger boy instinctively places his feet on Joshua's lap, still sniffling every once in a while.

Joshua payed no mind to the movie, his mind decked out with millions of thoughts, wondering who could've cursed Tyler so badly today. Another light bulb sparked inside his head as he smirked.

His palms on Tyler's feet, Joshua slowly curled his fingers and slid them down and around the arch of his feet. The skin soft and cold. Tyler gasped and pulled his feet up. He kept his ankles in the air until Joshua pulled his hands away.

No sooner than later, Joshua felt Tyler return his feet to his lap. And just like that, Joshua's fingertips were back on his soles. Tyler held his breath and pulled his feet away again. "What are you doing, butthead?!"

Joshua shrugged. "M'trying to cheer you up." Tyler furrowed his eyebrows, "well can you stop it, please?"

Joshua frowned playfully, eyes rolling. He pulled Tyler's right foot down and held it there with his left hand. "What's wrong?" He asked. "You know exactly what's wrong. Just-just don't." Joshua continues to press on, "don't what?"

"Tickle me."

"Okay," Joshua said with a shrug. He began to lightly drag his fingernails up his wrinkling foot, heel to toes and back all over again. "J-Joshua, st-stop! You know that's not what I meant!" Tyler's lovely laugh echoed into the air through a toothy smile – a truly beautiful sight, in Josh's opinion. He tried to use his left foot to kick away at the brunette's increasingly aggressive fingers.

"But you're laughing, Ty-guy," Joshua teased. Tyler kicked again, but this time, Joshua grabbed both of his feet and pulled his ankles into his side, locking his left arm around them.

"Y-you meanie!" Tyler exclaimed, trying to hold in his laughter. Joshua focused in on his ticklish targets, alternating between feet with his right hand. His fingers feasted on the touch. Tyler's pink feet were the normal sickly-looking white, but smooth. His toes were curling and wriggling as Joshua's fingertips continued to run around his feet.

Tyler squealed as Joshua applied more pressure to the sensitive skin. "You're loving this, aren't ya, Ty?" Tyler let out another screech, "n-no Joshua! S'too much! Stop-stop it!" His words sputtering from how much he was giggling.

Joshua flipped himself onto his stomach, pulling himself toward the opposite end of the couch. He was obviously stronger than Tyler, who felt himself being dragged downward as he tried to maintain a hold around his love's ankles. "Where d'ya think you're going, mister?" Joshua smirked. "Stop tickling me, Joshua! I can't t-take it any-anymore!"

Joshua refused to listen, which honestly was no surprise. The bottom of Tyler's feet were now face up, Joshua used his body to trap them beneath his torso. His fingers were quick, back to tickling the skin.

"The-the movie, Joshua! Let me watch the movie and st-stop tickling me!" Tyler begged and pleaded through his fit of giggles until Joshua finally gave in. They both returned to their spots against the opposite sides of the couch. Catching their breath and continuing to watch the movie they partially missed. That is until Joshua tackled Tyler again.

Joshua straddled Tyler's waist, poking into his adorable, pudgy stomach. Tyler giggled and held his arms close to his chest, slapping at Joshua's hands. He kicked and laughed, his eyes glued shut, and a goofy smile placed on his lips.

Joshua pulled back, a smirk heavy on his lips. "If I remember correctly, you once told me that your underarms were ticklish."

Tyler paused like a deer and headlights. "No! I never said tha-" Tyler was unable to finish his sentence as Joshua was pouncing back onto the younger boy. His mouth bursted open with the power of his squeaky, high-pitched laugh, and his arms trembling.

"Truce! I call a truce! Please, J-Joshy! I'm better I promise!" Tyler tried, his brain going into overdrive.

Joshua stopped on cue, having no trouble pulling his hands from Tyler's underarms. He placed his palms on the boy's heaving chest, grinning and closing his eyes before moving his hands from Tyler's chest to either sides of his head, pulling the boy into a sweet kiss.

"Hmm, feeling better now?"

Tyler was quick to nod his head, not wanting to start another tickle fight. "Y-yes," he said, still out of breath. Joshua smiled, pecking his lips once more. "Good."
