Last Thanksgiving, if someone had asked Tyler what he was most thankful for, he most likely would have said his family, or maybe even his dog, Charlie. But, those were just things Tyler was always thankful for. But now, if someone were to ask him what he was most thankful for, the answer would be spilling out of his mouth before the person finished asking.

"Joshua!" Tyler exclaims, swinging open the door of his dorm room to see Joshua's beautiful, smiling face. He quickly pulls Joshua into the room, peppering kisses all over his face as Joshua shuts the door.

Tyler's flat mates had left earlier in the week, already being finished with classes before Christmas break started, resulting in Tyler being allowed to stay in his dorm until the end of the week. So, obviously he was going to take the golden opportunity to have some alone time with Joshua. He had spent the entire day cleaning the small apartment, making sure it was spotless and not so obvious that three boys shared the place. He was about to apologize for the "mess" before Joshua is wrapping his arms around Tyler's waist and pulls him into a sloppy kiss. Tyler being unable to do much, he settled on encasing his arms around Joshua's neck to pull him closer.

They pull apart, breathless. Tyler watches Joshua watch him with a soft look in his eyes, a smile on his face as his hands rub along Tyler's sides. Tyler can't handle the heat of his gaze and wraps his arms around Joshua's neck even tighter, nuzzling his face into the crook of Joshua's neck, feeling his cheeks burn when Joshua chuckles at him, holding him tight.

He still hasn't gotten used to the way that Joshua looks at him. Honestly, he isn't really familiar to the idea of someone finding him worthy of what he is. It's not like Tyler hasn't had a boyfriend before, because sure he has, it's just different with Joshua. Maybe because this time, it feels more than just a month-long fling with some friction beneath the sheets. It feels like something more than that, but still with some of that friction, or maybe a lot.

"Babe," Joshua says, pulling Tyler from his thoughts. "Aren't you going to show me around?"

His voice is kind and sweet. Almost like he just heard all of the millions of thoughts that constantly run through Tyler's head. Tyler pulls away from him then, pressing a cold hand against Joshua's heated cheek.

"Yeah," he says, "yeah, sorry. It's not, it's not much, really." He gestures an arm around the room. He shows Joshua the three rooms with the full-sized beds, bureaus, desks, skillfully placed in the room so a decent amount of floor is available, making the room feel bigger than what it is. Tyler watches as Joshua takes in the room, the smile still plastered on his face, his mocha brown eyes wondering around.

"It's nice," Joshua says, titling his head. "Is this room yours?" Tyler nods as Joshua takes off his backpack, walking into the room on the far right, putting his backpack up against the wall. He takes a peek at the letters 'TJ' hung up above the boy's bed.
