Chaper 15: Mama's home

When Oliver woke up Felicity was still sound asleep next to him. He got up and put on a pair of jeans and walked out to the kitchen to start breakfast.

About fifteen minutes later Felicity woke up to the sweet smell of hot coffee brewing.
She put on her pink robe with her matching slippers and followed the smell to the kitchen.
"Yumm, something smells good." She said as she walked up to Oliver. He put his arms around her waist and pulled her against him placing a soft kiss on her lips.

They were quickly interrupted by a loud knock at the door. They gave each other a confused look. When Felicity opened the door she was surprised to see her mother standing there playing with the handle of her suitcase. When she looked up she threw her arms up and started screaming. She ran over to Felicity wrapping her arms around her tight still yelling in excitement. Felicity grabbed her by her shoulders gently pushing her off of her.
"Mom, what are you doing here?" Felicity questioned not knowing to be happy or embarrassed that her mother just showed up out of the blue like this.
" well tomorrow is your birthday so I thought I would surprise you by coming to see you."
She yelled excitedly.
"Well it was definitely a surprise." Felicity mumbled under her breath sounding slightly annoyed.
"Tomorrow's your birthday?" Oliver asked confused why she never told him.
Before Felicity had a chance to explain her mother started asking a bunny of questions.
"Who is this?" She looked through the door way. "Oh-my-God, your Oliver queen!"she exclaimed. "I can't believe this." She looked over to Felicity. "Why didn't you tell me you knew Oliver Queen?" She yelled in excitement.
"This is why I didn't tell you why we are dati-"
Felicity stopped herself before she finished that sentence, but she was to late. Donna started jumping the best she could in her four inch heels. "I can't believe your dating Oliver Queen!" She started yelling even louder. Before she could say anything else Felicity quickly put her hand against her mothers mouth blocking her from saying anything else. "Mom, stop your embarrassing me." Felicity slowly whispered in her ear.
"Sorry honey I'm just so happy for you."  She explained. Her mom trying to hold back her excitement walked over to Oliver.
"Hi,I'm Donna." She said with a big smile stretched across her face.
"I'm Oliver." He said as he put his hand out for a proper greeting. Dona completely ignored his hand and gave him a tight hug. Felicity feeling embarrassed just put her hand on her forehead. After an awkward few seconds Donna finally let go of Oliver.
"Mom, me and Oliver are going out so why don't you go in the extra bedroom and unpack and take a nap." Felicity said trying her best to somehow get her mother out of the room.

"I'm so ,so sorry for her" Felicity said feeling really embarrassed.
"No, it fine." Oliver said reassuringly.
Okay but we have to run to the store"  she said walking towards the bedroom to get changed out of her sleep wear.
"For what?" Oliver asked.
"I need aspirin." She said stopped at the door to the room. Oliver just chuckled.

Sorry this took so long to write I just have a lot going on right now. But next chapter is probably going to be short so that should be up in the next couple of days. Like I said before I have a lot going on and after it all settles down I'll be back to writing more.
My snowbarry fan fic is also being postponed until everything settles down so the first chapter might be up by Halloween like I wanted but I don't think it will be. But I will be explaining  what is going on at the end of next chapter if u want to know.
