Oliver's POV

It's been four months since the funeral. The pain has dulled but it is still there. Felicity and I are back to our normal lives, well as normal as it gets. We are still team arrow and we are finally starting to plan the wedding.

"Don't forget to get ice!" Felicity yelled from the couch.

Tonight is the engagement party.

"I won't." I yelled back.

"Ohh, you know what else you should get?" Felicity said.

"What's that?" I asked her, walking into the living room and sitting next to her on the couch.

"You should get a pizza." She said with a big smile.

"The party starts in two hours I think you can handle waiting." I told her.

"No I can't. My body needs pizza right now." She joked.

"You're lucky I love you." I said standing up and kissing the top of her head.

"Thanks! You're the best."  She said excitedly.

Felicity's POV

It's about seven now and people should be arriving shortly. I wheeled over to the table and set the final tray of food down and I heard a knock at the door.

"I got it." Oliver yelled.

He opened the door and I heard my mother shriek in excitement. She quickly wrapped her arms around Oliver and continued to yell.

Oliver looked over at me and gave me the "help me" look.

"You're on you're own, buddy." I mouthed to him nodding my head back and forth.

My mother finally let go of Oliver and looked over at me with a big smile.

"There she is. My baby girl." She said with a big smile.

She gave me a very light hug. She has been like that with me ever since the accident.

"Mom, it's ok, you're not going to hurt me." I told her.

"I know, I know." She said. "Wow, look at your dress." She smiled, changing the subject.

Then we heard another knock and the door opened.

"Hey!" Thea said as her and Laurel walked in.

"Hey." Oliver said giving Thea a hug.

"Where should I put this?" Laurel asked holding up a large gift bag.

"Just put it on the table." I said pointing to the empty table.

The party is just about over. The only people who are still here is Thea, Laurel, Curtis and Paul.

Thea and Laurel are leaving now.

"Bye guys." I said as they closed the door.

"Ok good there gone." Curtis said excitedly.

"I thought you said you like them?" I asked shocked at what he just said.

"Oh, yeah that just came out wrong. What I mean is I can finally give you your gift." He said pulling a small, neatly wrapped box out of his pocket.

I opened the small box. "Thanks, we forgot to register for our micro chip." I said.

"Actually it's not a micro nor chip." He corrected. "It's an implantable bio stimulant."

"And why would I need an implantable bio-" I stopped myself there realized get what this is.

"For walking." Curtis said.

"Wait, you're saying-" Oliver started.

"In a perfect world it will work in time for you to walk down the aisle. I mean it's pretty cutting edge, so I can't promise anything. I fact I don't even know it it will definitely work." He said.

" you saying that this little piece of tech is going to help me walk again?" I asked.

"Theoretically, yes." He said.

"I-I don't know what to say." I stuttered.

"I do." Oliver said. "Curtis, you are terrific. Thank you."

"Don't thank me yet. We still have to see if it works."

"It will work. I know it will." I said.

It's been six weeks since I had the chip implanted into my spine. The problem is, it's not working. I've gone to multiple physical therapy sessions, but still nothing. Occasionally I can move a toe or two, but that's about it. Even that hasn't happened in a while. I'm beginning to lose hope. Oliver is staying optimistic, but the wedding is in two weeks. Chances are I won't be walking down the aisle.
