chapter 4: more than an IT girl

Felicity

after what happened last night with the whole bomb around my neck i just wanted some time to relax for once. That lasted for about 5 seconds and than i heard a knock on my door. When i opened the door it was Oliver. "Oliver what are u doing here?" I asked confused why he would be here because it was about 12 in the afternoon on a Saturday. The only thing i could think of was something to do with the arrow. I wondered if something was wrong but when I saw the smirk on his face that told me differently. it wasn't like an evil smirk it was a I'm happy kind of smirk. "felicity, I was wondering if you wanna go out to lunch or something." he said and I could tell he was nervous. "yeah! I mean yeah. I mean I would love to." I heard him chuckle under his breath. I was about to leave when I remember I was still in my pj's. I looked down and said "ugh, hold on I'll need to get changed." I put on a cute black dress with blue flowers and a black leather jacket and nude heals and my usual pony tail. when i came out of my room Oliver couldn't help but stare at me . he always thought that dress looked good on me. "ready to go?" I asked as i picked up my purse. "so where to?" I asked. "wherever you want."he said. I gave him a half smile. "well I have been in the mood for some fro yo." I said.

Oliver's POV

Me and Felicity walked down the street hand in hand. I knew about this new frozen yogurt place a few blocks from her apartment. when we walked in i could see her face light up. she was the only person i knew with a sweet tooth this big. that was one of the many reasons i loved her. and this frozen yogurt buffet made her like a kid in a candy shop and i loved seeing her so happy. when we both got the yogurt and toppings and paid we walked in the park while we ate our frozen yogurt. "thank you" Felicity said. "for what? I asked. "everything, you changed my life, Oliver, and not just because I help you be the arrow. you showed me that I was more than some boring IT girl. you showed me that-" I cut her off and kissed her. I pulled back and our foreheads stayed together. Felicity was a bit worried because i pulled back so suddenly. "tomorrow night my mother is having some formal get together and I think you should come." I said nervously. "I would love to." she said.

So I'm, already working in next chapter and I'm really going to try and get it out tonight
