*Aria's POV*

"Seriously, you guys aren't hungry? I'm starving!" Hanna complains during the car ride.

"For the one hundredth time Hanna, we will stop to get you food on the way back!" Spencer yells from the driver's seat, looking annoyed. I can't help but giggle. Hanna sighs, and starts filing her nails.

A few minutes later, we pull into Brookhaven. Very few people crowd the streets, and the sky is dark and gloomy. People give us frowns of dissatisfaction as we pass.

"This place gives me the creeps." Emily says with a shiver.

"Yeah well any town that has a doll hospital named after a dead girl would give me the creeps too." Hanna says matter of factly.

Spencer turns onto Spruce street, and parks the car next to a toy store. She turns the key and ejects it from the ignition. After we all file out of the car, we begin our hunt for 'Vails Doll Hospital'.

The leaves rustle as they fly across the road. A cool breeze sweeps over the town, giving it an even more eerie feel. Spencer starts reading the building addresses aloud.

"230,231,232..." Spencer studies the buildings carefully.

"233,234,236." She pauses, and recounts.

"233,234,236? Where the hell is 235?" she asks puzzled. Everyone looks around. Emily, who is ahead of us, stares across the street.

"Look!" she cries, pointing to a building directly across from us. The shop window is displayed with dolls, and in gold lettering it reads, 'Vail's doll hospital.'

"That's it!" I gasp. All four of us cross the street. Once we reach the doll hospital, we peek inside. The place is completely dark and deserted.

"This doesn't make sense! Online it said it was open!" Spencer says frowning. Just then a tall skinny man walks around the corner. We all rush over to him.

"Excuse me?" Spencer asks. The man jumps.

"Woah, I uh, didn't see you there." he says. "Who are you and how can I help you?"

Spencer clears her throat and speaks.

"Do you see that doll hospital?" She asks pointing towards it. The man nods.

"Do you know who works there?" She asks, completely ignoring the man's first question. The man shakes his head.

"Sorry. Can't help you. That place has been shut down for years." Spencer frowns.

"Oh, well thanks anyway." she says shrugging.

"No problem! Glad I could help!" The man waves, and continues down the road, whistling all the way.

"Well that was no help!" Emily says disappointedly. Just then, we hear the creak of a door opening. We all turn, our eyes wide. The door to the doll hospital is slightly ajar! Spencer creeps up closer.

"Okay you guys, this is just creepy." I say shuddering at the thought of what might be waiting for us inside.

"I'm with Aria." Hanna says grabbing onto my arm. "What do you say we ditch this place, and go find food?" Spencer and Emily turn around.

"Hanna!" They both shout, sounding irritated.

"What?" Hanna asks shrugging "it was just a thought." Spencer rolls her eyes. Emily shakes her head. I just laugh.

Spencer takes a deep breath and pushes the door open a little further.

"Hello?" she calls. "Hello?"

There's no reply. She calls again.

"Hello?" Just then the door slams shut, making all four of us jump. Spencer pulls out her phone and flicks on the flashlight. Broken doll parts scatter the tables, and all the repaired dolls are stacked on shelves towards the front of the store. None of us speak as we creep around the shop. Spencer's phone flashlight is the only thing allowing us to see in the darkened room.

Spencer stops suddenly, her phone positioned so that the light is illuminating off of a porcelain doll with pale cheeks and red lips. Her hair is hung in golden ringlets down her back, and her little pink dress is decorated with rows of lacey ruffles.

"Look you guys. It's Ali's doll!" Spencer says, running over and grabbing it off the shelf. Just then, we hear something behind us. We all turn around. A shadowed figure darts behind a table.

"H-hello?" Emily calls uneasily. I gulp. No reply.

"Show yourself bitch!" Hanna yells into the darkness.

"Hanna!" we all whisper scream. She shoots us a 'what else was I supposed to do' look and is silent after that. Nobody moves. We all stand there stone still. All of a sudden, a crash comes from the back of the shop. Dolls start chanting and taunting in robotic- like voices. Soon the whole shop is filled with talking dolls.

A table flips over and crashes to the floor, doll parts flying everywhere.

"Let's get out of here!" I yell, on the verge of tears. I can't bear to put my unborn child in danger. All four of us attempt to scramble out of the doll house madness. Finally, the door leading outside comes into view. We are almost to safety, when we stop in our tracks. The Ali doll's head, is hanging from the door frame and on the door written in red paint are these threatening words:

Stop looking bitches, or I'll leave you headless like this doll. -A
